JANE'S POV

Excruciatingly exciting and fulfilling. I've never been to a combat let alone a mission for the past few months and I can honestly say that im missing the adrenaline or im just missing my boys – regardless I did have fun. My team mates were awesome. At first, they're doubting my capabilities to lead, but the 4th task proved my worth and let them know that I can walk the talk.

Yeah that's the best part of the drill, long range targets. It's been a while since I held an MK11 riffle. Cleaning my riffle and service firearm are one of the few things that calm my nerves so when I rushed to the last leg of the 4th task, I paused and cant help but smirk. I knew that time that my team's behind so that was the only window were we can get the advantage cause the next task would be done as a team and I knew by then that everyone's exhausted so we really need all the points we could get cause whether I admit or not we're underdogs compared to George's (Castro) team though I admire the determination the other group has, they were at par with us then the 4th task happened and the rest was history.

When Sgt. West injured his ankle, I saw the disappointment and defeat in my team's eyes and I wont allow that, not on my watch. I did what I had to do in this type of situations. I called for huddle

"guys, we made it this far and this (incident) is just another bump in the road but nothing we cant handle. There's 6 of us so we can carry West's bag while others carry him as we head to the end of the line. We need to work as a team and finish strong. Last 5 laps guys, WE CAN DO THIS!!!!" I told them as look into their eyes. The pep talk worked and im proud of my team mates for not giving up and giving their all.

When we reached the finish line, the look on my team's face were all worth it. We may have ended up 2nd place in the last task but we conquered far more than that. Group hugs and taps on the back were due.

Grey approached me and asked if I could wait for him as the instructors need to tabulate the scores. An hour later we're headed home but not without Capt. Max asking us to invite him at our house, maybe he already knows we're already married. OH MY GULAY (vegetable) I AM MARRIED! The thought brought smile to my face.

"penny for your thoughts babe?" Grey asked

"nah, just happy."

"is it too much to ask if its me that makes you happy?" did he really have to ask? I know I look like a tomato by now and I cant tamed the butterflies in my stomach – this guy tsk

"I love blushing Jane but most especially my blushing wife." He said as he took my hand in his and kissed the back of my hand. That sent shiver down my spine, its like thousands of needles were prickling my body. I love the way my name and the word wife roll off his mouth but then again I just love this man.

"are you sore?" he asked after a few minutes eyes still on the road and my hand still in his my heart's still beating frantically but somewhat I felt safe and comfortable if that's even possible.

"you know if someone heard you asking me that, they would think we just had sex." The moment I said that I regretted it

"you know exactly what I mean but I don't mind making love with you babe actually I look forward to it." He said as he glanced at me briefly then eyes back on the road again but placed my hand over his heart and its smashing his chest as if its begging to be set free.

"as always Grey you and your perverted thoughts." Then I paused as I slightly grip his hand "what im trying to say is that you don't have to worry about me I can handle the training. I know ive said this before but I'll repeat it ive been through worst so there's no need for you to be worried plus you made sure I eat and sleep on time and have the energy I need before I go out there. So relax, will you?" by the time I finished he's already facing me and we're already parked at the garage.
