JANE'S POV

After 2 years

True to his words, Grey has accepted the full time desk position he's been offered. Full time instructor, still with the rest of his unit. They had produced yet another batch like us. They are also responsible for the new SEAL recruits further trainings.

I on the other hand am still the CO of the Philippine Army's Special force – AirBorne. The rest of my team handles the trainings of the aspirants. They're known to be the legendary instructors for they've produced medal worthy soldiers.

CP is now in 4th grade at 7 years old. I didn't intend him to skip but his teacher asked him to take a series of exam we don't know the purpose of at first then when the results came out his teacher congratulated us and informed that the next school year he'll be an incoming 4th grader instead of 1st grade.

Grey's scheduled to arrive today for it's our 8th wedding anniversary, I was off to an urgent meeting with my superiors.

Meeting was concluded an hour after as I start my car's engine I set my phone in handsfree mode then call CP's professor for I received an sms from him telling him to call him back asap

"Mr. Gonzales? This is Christian Paul Grey's mom, what seems to be the problem?" I asked calmly too calm I guess that made him stutter

"uh – uhm Mrs. Grey, I – I w...was iinfor...med by th-e guard tha..t a ne new carrr pick..ed upp your son earlier?" stuttering then it came out as a question

"WHAT? Around what time was that?" me sounding alarmed just made the poor professor stutter more that I had to tell him to calm for I he cant produce a damn coherent word

"around 4pm ma'am." He finally said. I checked my wrist watch and its half past 1600hours – damn.

I dialed Nana's number to check if CP home by now or Mang Greg has picked him up but no. I cant raise suspicions from anyone as of the moment so I stopped by at the school to ask the guards about the car that picked up CP.

As I parked hazard lights blinking the guards approached my car but as I stepped out of the car they seemed frozen giving me a once over then I remembered im wearing my dress uniform. The look on their faces tells me that they're mentally debating if they will salute me or not.  I dismissed the idea then proceed with my business to ask for the car's plate number but unfortunately they didn't get it so I just asked them a favor to check the cctv and call me as soon as they pulled it up.

I phoned my son after 3 rings he answered but whispering I know something's wrong and im in panic mode now but needs to remain composed.

"mom..."

"Nak, where are you?" I asked calmly careful not to raise panic for my child – please lord keep my son safe

"I don't know exactly mom but we passed the magnolia street earlier. I think 2 blocks from here and 10 minutes from school and car's running 60 km/h." Thank God I taught my son what to take note when going somewhere he isn't familiar with

"do you remember anything about the car or person who picked you up?" I pried trying to getting as much intel as I could from my 7 year old kid

"mom, it's a black sedan like the car we use when we're in US." Was all he said when the line went dead, my heart's beating out of my chest by now so I dialed my son's phone again to no avail. I reached Magnolia St. so 2 blocks from here is the possible location of my son

As I passed by the street carefully inspecting the surrounding it's not somewhere an abductor would go but still im taking my chances just gotta trust my son's intel.
