++++Rosalie's POV++++
In the past two days things have been pretty crazy lately from the news of my pregnancy coming out. All of the girls were so ecstatic to hear the news and have been telling me all their plans for the baby shower that they'll be hosting for me. So far the only people who know are Nathan's team, my team, the girls, and my family. We want to keep this a little bit more on the low because if anything were to happen we didn't want people to make a big scene about it. I honestly didn't know how well my dad or Mads would take the news, but surprisingly they were happy too. My dad was worried when I first told him because he knew that I would have to end my hockey career sooner than I'd like to. He even said that when it becomes closer to my due date that he would fly to Montreal and stay with us for a while so he can meet the little one.
Today Nathan and I were going to get the first ultra sound done, and to be honest we were both nervous.
"Rosalie Eller?" A nurse called into the waiting room.
"I'm so excited." Nathan said and squeezed my hand as we followed the nurse into the room.
"Me too." I smiled.
At first the nurse asked me general questions about my health and then more specific questions like when I first found out I was pregnant and how far a long I thought I was.
"Alright Rosalie, roll up your shirt off your belly please." The nurse instructed.
I did so as the nurse applied a gel to the ultra sound machine.
"This may be a little bit chilly." She said.
She pressed the wand to my belly and an image appeared on the screen.
"Yep there it is, your child right there. Looks like you're almost two months pregnant." The nurse pointed to a little blob on the screen.
"Oh my god Nate there it is." I said with tears forming in my eyes.
"Absolutely amazing." Nathan kissed my cheek.
"Would you like a copy of this?" She asked us.
"Yes please that would be great." I said.
"I'll be right back with your copy." She said.
"I can't believe that this is really happening. Wow I'm going to be a father." Nathan sat there crying and amazed.
"Yes and this time this child is ours." I kissed him.
"We made that." He pointed to the screen.
"And I'm so glad you convinced me that it was going to be okay." I told him.
"Here is your copy and you can schedule the next appointment at the front, and next time it'll be with the doctor. Alright any questions?" She asked.
"Nope we're all set. Thank you so much." I said.
"Have a good day." She said and walked out.
On our way home from the doctor's office Nathan pulled into the Bell Centre parking garage.
"What are we doing here Nate?" I asked.
"I want to go shopping for the baby at the store." He said..
"Don't you think that it's a bit too early to do that, I mean I am only two months pregnant." I pointed out.
"I at least want to get one thing." He said.
"You do you bud." I laughed and followed him into the team store.
There were a couple of fans in the shop that Nathan stopped to sign autographs for and take pictures with. After that they left us alone and Nathan went straight to the little kid's section.
"We need to get this customized." Nathan held up a jersey for a baby.
"That's adorable oh my goodness." I said.
"Look at these!" Nathan held up some onesies.
"I guess we're buying more than one thing." I laughed.
By the end of our shopping Nathan picked out almost every item that a baby could have, and even got the baby jersey customized with his last name and number on it.
"You're too much Nathan." I said as he loaded the car with many bags.
"I always spoil you and you know that I'm going to spoil our children too." Nathan said.
