The Unexpected Dwarf

Chapter 4

Wow "I see why you fancy her." What is that supposed to mean. Does Kili always have women falling all over him? How am I different? More questions than answers.

"Lucy! Wait I didn't mean it like that!" Fili shouted.

"Let me take care of this." Kili said. He walked over to the tree I was sitting next to.

"What do you want. In my pants obviously." I snap.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have treated you like that your not a wench." He said tenderly.

"It's ok. But why do you treat me like that?" I ask.

"Well most women hate me. It's actually kinda funny because I am nice to them. But your different. Your sweet and kind. And you allow me to do that. I really fancy you." He said.

"Well I do like when you do that and did you know your really really warm. That's the thing that gets me. And your never rough with me." I said.

"I try not to. And I was about to kiss you." He admitted.

"I would have liked that. And really 'I would rather you had not clothes on.' I mocked.

"I would've and when I say your different I mean your nice yet fierce. Your beautiful yet smart. Your sexy yet strong. It's an amazing combination." He says with that smirk that drives me crazy.

I smiled at him. Kili looked at me with tenderness and started to lean in. I leaned in with him. But just as our lips almost met we heard I noise in the bushes. We ran back to the camp.

"Thieves,Fire,Murder!!!" We heard a man shout as he burst out of the brush.

"Radagast." Gandalf said with cheer in his voice. The two started to make small talk. Kili and I snuck off a ways away from the group.

"I don't know you well." He said.

"I don't know you well either." I replied. We sat down next to a rock.

"So do you have any siblings?" He aksed.

"2 brothers and a sister. I am the youngest. My mom favors them more than me. She thinks I'm reckless." I said.

" Oh all I have is Fili. We are best friends. And my mom thinks I'm reckless. She didn't want me to go." He says.

"What is your favorite color?" I ask.

"Dark green and yours." He said.

"A very dark purple." I said.

"Like this." He says picking up a purple Violet.

"Yes exactly like that." I said. He put the violet in my hair. And stroked my cheek.

"It looks good on you. And what is your biggest fear?" He says.

"Being alone. I don't like the idea of solitude. I want to be with somebody." I admit.

"You can be with me." He replies.

"I would love that." I said smiling.

"We should practice your archery." He stated.

"Okay. Tell me what to hit." I replied.

I took my bow out and set an arrow.

"That leaf." He said. I hit the leaf dead on. Everything he told me to hit I hit. I was very proud.

"Your a natural." He said putting his arm around my shoulder. We walked back to camp like that. Everybody was staring.

"Take your hand off of my shoulder their staring." I whispered.

"Oh sorry." He responded.

Just then we heard a howl. A long deep howl. Wargs. Nasty wargs.

"Was that a wolf?" Bilbo asked.

"That was not a wolf." Bofur said.

Then a wargs appeared behind Thorin. I drew an arrow and shot it's head. Another came behind. Kili and he shot it dead on.

"Warg scout. That means a pack of orcs is not far behind!" Thorin shouted.

"Who did you tell of your journey other than your kin!?" Gandalf shouted.

"No one!" Thorin shouted.

"Who did you tell!!" Gandalf yelled.

"No one I swear. We need to get out of here." Said Thorin

"We can't the ponies blotted." Ori said.

"I can lead them away." Radagast said.

"These are Gundabag wargs they will surely out run you.." Gandalf replied.

"These are Ruskabell rabbits. I'd like to see them try." Radagast said.

Radagast took off and we ran in the opposite direction. I stayed right next to Kili. We bobbed under boulderS until an orc and his Warg caught up with our sent.

Thorin looked at me and Kili and nodded. We both sprung out Kili shooting the Orc. I hit the Warg. It toppled down next to the company. It made so much noise Gloin silenced it but giving the Orc and Warg and axe to the face.

Now the wargs were after us. We ran following Gandalf. I looked around and I couldn't see him.

"Kili,Lucy shoot them!" Thorin screamed. I hit two wargs and there riders. But then one caught up with me. The Orc slashed my leg I fell right next to the Wargs mouth. The Warg bit down hard on my leg. I screamed out in pain.

"Kili!" I screamed he turned around to see my leg in a wargs mouth. Thank god the Warg let me go. Kili came sprinting towards me.

"Lucy!" He screamed. He killed the Orc and Warg. I lay there shaking there was a lot of blood. Thankful in I still had my leg. He cradled me in his arms. Tears where streaming down his face.

"This way you fools!" Gandalf yelled. Everybody but Kili and I ran. He picked me up bridal style and began to run. I'm screamed in the pain.

"I'm so sorry." He said.

"It's not you it's the damn Warg." I replied.

"Kili run!" Thorin shouted. We slipped into the cave with blood all over Kili and I.

"Oh my. Lucy look at me." Kili cried.

Just then I heard a horn. The orcs where dying but by who? An Orc fell down into the cave with a thud. Thorin pulled the arrow from its neck.

"Elves." He snickered.

"I do not see where the path leads do we follow it!?" Dwalin shouted.

"Follow it of course!" Bofur said.

Kili picked me up and carried me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and held on. I felt sleepy. My eyelids began to close.

"Don't fall asleep where gonna get help." He said.

At the end of the path there was a city in a valley. "Rivendell." Bilbo said.

We took off down the path and into a circular platform. I was still on Kili's arms. I was tired. A group of elves on horses gathered around us until one got off.

"Gandalf." Said the Elf.

"Hello Elrond we need your help we have injured." Gandalf said. Elrond looked strait at Kili and I.

"She does not have much time but I can heal her. Come with my quickly!" He said running. As we began to run I passed out. Oh poor Kili. All I want to do is see Kili again.
