The Unexpected Dwarf

Chapter 9

I woke up far before everybody else. It was dawn the birds had just started to chirp and I saw fish swimming down the river we bathed in yesterday. I took out my daggers and began to throw them at fish. I wanted to catch fish for breakfast. About an hour later I had caught 10 fish and lost 2 daggers. I gutted the fish and started a fire. I was to hungry to wait for Bombur to get up.

"Good me what is that lovely smell?" I heard Kili say in his scratchy morning voice.

"Breakfast. I caught fish from the river." I said looking down at the fish in my pan.

"Who eats fish for breakfast?" Kili asked sitting up on our blankets.

"I do and if you don't want any you can just not eat." I said turning around.

"Ok I'll eat miss fish for breakfast." He said walking towards the fire.

"I would flip you the bird but my hands are numb from the cold water." I said with a smirk. Kili laughed. He plopped down next to me, I handed him a plate. We also had some potatoes from yesterday left. I put those on his plates as well.

"Why thank you." He said kissing my cheek. A smile spread across my face. Soon enough everybody woke up. Most of them got half a fish. But Bombur managed to steal another half. So did Dwalin. One of these days. I caught Kili trying to do the same.

"Kili put the fish down or I will cut off your manhood with a rusty knife." I said looking at him. The look on his face was priceless. He looked like he had just seen a ghost.

"The funny part is she is being completely serious." Thorin said chuckling.

"Lucy he might need that for later." Fili said smirking. The company burst into laughter. Even I laughed. Well we might. (*wink wink nudge nudge* and I'm so sorry I had to put some sexual humor.)

We packed up camp rather quickly.

Started down the trail. Gandalf explained that there was somebody who could help us. Beorn. A skin changer. I have only heard rumors of skin changers I thought they didn't exist. But I was so very wrong. He could change into a great black bear. Oh how dandy more things that can eat me. I already almost lost a limb to a bloody Warg. Once we got to Beorn's house Gandalf cautioned us that Beorn did not fancy dwarves.

It's official I'm going to get eaten at the end of this journey. All the odds are for me getting eaten! First of all in a dwarf! My race is not well thought of. Secondly I'm a smart mouth! I say things semi stupid and really rude. And lastly I've already almost been eaten once. You know second times the charm.

We went in threw fields of huge bees and hornets. I swear they were bigger than my thumb. There where many ancient oaks. Gandalf took Bombur and Bilbo down a path. We sat around and waited for Gandalf. I saw Kili running towards me. I raised my eyebrows and smirked. He grabbed my waist and spun me around in the air. I laughed as he kissed me.

"What would I do without you?" Kili asked.

"I don't know get bored easily." I said laughing.

"So I was thinking. You know how you beat me at wrestling twice." He said looking down at the ground.

"Let me guess you want a rematch." I putting my hand on my hip.

"Yes and I will finally beat you." He said pulling me close.

"Ok come with me." I said pulling at his hand. We walked a bit into the woods. So it would be more private. I'm guessing this will end in the booth of us kissing.

Kili put his hand on my hip and pulled me close to him. He began to lean in but suddenly he pushed me to the ground.

"You poor bastard!" I shouted as he tried to straddle me.

"Gotcha!" He said pinning my shoulders. He had made the grave mistake of looking away. I kicked his knee and slipped out from under him. I grabbed his arm and twisted. Kili fell to the ground losing his breathe as he landed.

"Oh poor baby." I said mockingly. He suddenly grabbed my leg and I fell next to him. He quickly took advantage a d straddled me. I wiggled like a dying fish but no use is was pinned. His famous smirk crossed his face.

"Did I tell you you look beautiful?" Kili said smiling.

"Now you did. I love you." I said wrapping my arms around his neck. He came closer and kissed me. It quickly turned into pure passion. We kissed and kissed. Not even coming up for air. I just wanted to live in this moment. Kili moved his hands threw my hair. I was so caught up in our embrace I didn't hear the footsteps. Suddenly I heard somebody clear their throat. Oh no. I looked over Kili to see Thorin.

"Am I interrupting something?" Thorin asked raising an eyebrow.

"Well yes if you can't see I'm trying to have a moment with the woman I love." Kili said laughing. I still lay under him. I was blushing like crazy.

"Come on love birds." Thorin said walking away. We quickly got up and brushed each other off. Kili took a leaf out of my hair and we booth giggled. We walked back to the ancient oaks and followed the path. I saw the entire company. Well at least the skin changer hasn't eaten them.

Beorn was much taller than the others. He had a long black beard and long black hair. We didn't stay to long. Just overnight. The next morning he let us take his ponies to Mirkwood. I've been in that forest. When I was a small child. All I remover where spiders. Huge black spiders. I never did like spiders. They seem so vile. We began our ride to Mirkwood. It was pretty boring until we reached the gate. We let the ponies return to Beorn. Suddenly Gandalf left. He always leaves at the worst possible times. I just hope I don't get eaten.

So I was letting a friend read over this and she said "Well sexual tensions are high." I just had to tell you that made me laugh. So I'm going to now do songs for each chapter. This update the song is going to be.
