Damian had a concerned look on his face. "Raven I know something wrong. Are you sure you don't want to talk about it?" he asked. She actually did want to talk to someone about what was going on with her. Trigon had been trying hard to escape his prison and it had been stressing her out a lot. "Actually.....yes." she admitted. "Can I come in?" he asked. She nodded and stepped aside. She sat down on her bed and motioned for him to join her.
"So what's bothering you?" he asked.
"My father." she simply replied. He nodded in understanding. "I had a nightmare about him. He said he was going to return, and once he did he would kill everyone. He said that I was going to help him too, and that I didn't have a choice." she said as tears started to fall from her eyes.
"Hey....don't worry Raven. Don't let him get to you. We won't let him harm you or anyone else." he wiped a tear from her face. She calmed down a bit.
"He won't let me sleep. His voice is always going through my mind. Sometimes I'll get delusional and see things. A few days ago when I turned on my bathroom sink I saw blood coming out of the faucet. This time I woke up and found this on my arm.
She pulled her sleeves and showed him the scratch marks she had on her arms. His eyes widened slightly when he saw them. "How did that happen?" he asked with concern leaking from his voice. "I don't know. I woke up and I saw them on my arm." The scratch marks were still bleeding a little. She sighed with a scared and worried look on her face.
Damian placed a hand on her shoulder. "Its going to be ok Raven. I'm not going to let him hurt you. I'm here for you." he smiled. "Thanks" she said smiling back. Soon after they walked into the common room. Raven walked towards the kitchen to make some herbal tea. Soon after, she joined Damian on the couch to watch t.v. They both glanced at each other and smiled.
Raven felt a little better knowing Damian was there for her. He was her best friend. She had been feeling scared and worried for a long time, but Damian seemed to calm her nerves.
