Chapter 8: Trouble Arriving

Fourth of July
It was 9 p.m. and the Titans had decided to go to the park celebrate fourth of July. They were at the park popping fireworks for Independence Day.
"Happy Independence Day Titans" Kori yelled excitedly. "Happy Independence Day" everyone shouted. Garfield and Jaime were run around and chasing each other with sparklers while Kori and Richard were popping cracklers.
Raven walked over to Damian and sat down. "Hey...why the long face?" Raven asked. "Well...I've never really seen or popped 'fireworks' before" he said. Raven cocked an eyebrow. "Well...there's always a first time for everything" she smiled. "Yeah..." he smiled back. Raven smirked as an idea popped up in her head. "Alright...what are you planning?" he questioned. "Wait..you'll see" she said and ran off towards the picnic table.
When she came back she had a bag of pop-its.

Damian raised an eyebrow. "What are those?" he asked. "These are called pop-its. You throw them onto the ground" she paused and looked at Garfield. "Watch this" she said grinning evily. She grabbed a hand full of pop its and threw them where Garfield was standing and he let out a loud shriek. "Huh? Who did that?" he said checking his surroundings. They both stifled their laughs. He crossed his arms and glared at them. "Haha...very funny" he said sarcastically.

They both turned their attention back towards the fireworks. "They look beautiful" raven stared at them in awe. "Almost as beautiful as you" he said looking up at her. She smiled. "Thanks Damian" she said and kissed his cheek. Damian started blushing furiously. He looked down and reached towards Raven's hand which was resting on ground. He placed his pinky on top of hers. Raven looked down with a surprised look on her face but didn't hesitate to grab his hand. They both stared into each others eyes.

Damian leaned forward and raven did the same. They were about to kiss just when Garfield ran up behind them. "BOO!" he yelled, startling them both. They both jumped back. Garfield was grabbing his side and laughing his head off. "Having fun love birds?" he asked with a smirk on his face. "You are so dead" Damian said and jumped to his feet. Garfield took off as Damian chased him around. Raven giggled as she watched Garfield run around screaming like a girl. It was about 10:30 now so the titans decided to go home and get some rest.

~~~~~~~~Back at the tower~~~~~~~~~
It was 11 o'clock now and the titans had finally made it home. "So..did everyone have fun?" Kori asked. "Yep..the lovebirds sure did.." he said and smirked at Damian and Raven. They both looked away and blushed. "Yep" said Jaime and Richard. "Good. I think its time we all got ready for bed. We might have have a crime alert tomorrow so we should try to get plenty of rest" she said smiling. Garfield yawned. "Yeah I'm tired" he said changing into a cat and stretching. "Goodnight everyone" Richard said and left the tower. "Night guys this chico is going to bed" Jaime said yawning. Jaime walked out of the common room and went to sleep.
Soon everyone one else followed and did the same thing.
~~~~~~~~Outside of the tower~~~~~~~
Two dark figures sat outside of the titans tower. One had binoculars in one hand and a camera in the other. "I've planned out everything. You will  help the titans out on their mission tomorrow and try to earn their trust. Once they've asked you to join them as a Titan you accept their offer. Once you've gained all of their trust you will take them all down one by one. When you've done that I want you to bring them all to me. Soon I will have my vengeance against the al ghul and there will be no one left to stop me" the Dark figure told his apprentice.  "Yes master" the other dark figure smiled evily.

Ok so this chapter will be a bit shorter but I did try to put down Damirae in this one. Its kind of hard because I'm working on 2 other stories and because I still have other things that I have to do so....anyway...I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. I appreciate you all soo much for reading this. That's all I have to say for now so..BYE!
