Chapter Six: Bath

Wilhelm turned to Günther and told him to get in the bathtub, Günther did as told and climbed in carefully. He sat at the end of the bathtub without the faucet while Wilhelm sat at the other end after shutting off the water. Wilhelm watched as Günther played with the bubbles, happily humming a tune in his head. He is such an innocent child.

"Günther, turn your back to me please, so that I can wash your hair." Wilhelm asked. Günther looked up at him and nodded, then scooched his back towards Wilhelm. Wilhelm grabbed shampoo and started to scrub it into Günther's darker brown hair. The shampoo turned a tint of brown as he scrubbed, Wilhelm frowned at this. Günther's hair was so dirty, and he was really slim. Poor Günther. Günther made different shapes with the bubbles, he blew them around, spun them around in circles and even made fake beards with it on his face. He just kept giggling as he played, his head felt nice though. It was like a massage for his head, it felt so good and relaxing. Wilhelm rinsed the soap and dirt from Günther's hair. Then proceeding to get some shampoo for himself.

"You can scootch back now." Wilhelm said starting to scrub the shampoo into his own hair. Günther nodded and scooched over to the other end of the bathtub, continuing with the bubbles. Wilhelm scrubbed the shampoo into his hair before rinsing it out. He took a moment to lounge there to relax a bit. Günther stopped playing with the bubbles and looked to Wilhelm.

"Are you done?"Günther asked looking seriously at Wilhelm. He shook his head, Wilhelm wasn't done just yet he still had to washing his body and trying to get Günther to do the same.

"No, I was just taking a break." Wilhelm said grabbing the bar of soap to wash his body. "Do you know how to wash your body?" Wilhelm asked looking to Günther. Günther took a second to think.

"Is that where you take the soap and scrub all over your body and then rinse it off?" Günther asked looking back to Wilhelm. He nodded with a smile.

"That is exactly how you do it." Wilhelm said, Günther smiled feeling accomplished. "Okay, I'll wash first, you go after me." Wilhelm explained before standing and beginning to wash the soap over his body. Günther simply went back to playing with the bubbles like the six year old child he is. Wilhelm finished and sat into the water to rinse the soap off. "Okay, your turn." Wilhelm grabbed the soap and carefully placed it in Günther's small hands as he stood. Wilhelm closed his eyes to relax some more in the warmth of the bath, while Günther scrubbed the soap over his small body.

Günther sunk down into the warm bubble filled water and sighed. It was so very relaxing and both Wilhelm and Günther loved it. A knock came from the bathroom door. Wilhelm froze, as did Günther. Wilhelm rushed out of the bathtub and grabbed a towel. Günther looked over still frozen.

"Wilhelm? Your mother called. She will be home a little later tonight." Nanny spoke from the other side of the door. Wilhelm sighed with relief.

"Okay, I'm almost done." He spoke, standing by the door. Nanny replied with an 'okay' before going back to the kitchen. "That was close, Wilhelm said turning to Günther who appeared to relax.

"Yeah, really close . . . do we really have to be done soon?" Günther asked, leaning forward and standing out of the water. Wilhelm nodded with a frown handing Günther his towel. Wilhelm's towel was around his waist while Günther, and his child ways, wrapped it over his shoulders as if it were a blanket. Wilhelm smiled at Günther's childish acts, turned to the door and slowly opened it making sure, Nanny wasn't in sight. When he saw Nanny was down stairs, Wilhelm grabbed Günther's hand and rushed to his room as fast as he could, with Günther following close behind.
