Wilhelm walked out the front door, pulling his cap over his head and started to walk around to where Günther stood holding his hand in front of him. Wilhelm walked to him and looked at his hands. There were small poke all over his hands from the rose vein. Wilhelm sighed looking up to his window then back down to Günther's hands.

"Can you wait till be get back?" Wilhelm asked. Günther nodded, taking Wilhelm's hand as they started to walk. They walked all they way to the park in silence. As they were walking back to Wilhelm's house, Wilhelm noticed Günther was having trouble holding the duffel bag on one shoulder and so he gladly took the bag. He threw it over his left shoulder so that it crossed his chest and took Günther's, small, sore, hand in his as they continued to walk. A couple of minutes after that, they reached the house again. Wilhelm opened the door and led Günther inside.

"Wilhelm? Is that you?" Nanny called from the kitchen. Wilhelm nodded subconsciously before responding.

"Yes, and I have Günther!" He slightly yelled in response, "he has a sore on his hand from the park, can you grab the first aid kit?" Wilhelm set down the duffel bag and knelt in front of Günther. He took Günther's small hands in his own to examine the, now red, poke marks from the rose vein. Nanny walked in with the first aid kit from the kitchen cupboard. She walked up to them and proceeded to assess Günther's injury.

"What did you do sweetie?" Nanny asked as she patted the sores with rubbing alcohol. Large tears welled up in Günther's eyes as he started to cry from the stinging of the alcohol. Wilhelm looked like he was going to kill something. "Sweetie, listen to me don't think about the stinging and think about my question." Nanny said in calm voice. Günther took a few deep breaths and thought about her question.

"I-I fell on a rose bush. I landed on my hands and got booboos on them." Günther stuttered as he wiped his, pink, eyes. Wilhelm walked over behind him and rubbed his back soothingly. Nanny nodded with a small smile.

"Okay, be more careful next time, okay?" Nanny asked wrapping Günther's hands softly. Günther nodded, rubbing his eyes slightly and smiling after. Nanny smiled back before standing and heading back to the kitchen with the first aid kit. "Wilhelm, your mother will be home soon. Can you set the table for me please, and show your friend to the spare bedroom." Nanny said before disappearing into the kitchen. Wilhelm nodded before answering with a quiet, okay. He gently took Günther's bandaged hand and led him upstairs to the spare bedroom as instructed.

"I guess you will be staying here, but if you feel scared or lonely I am just at the end of the hall." Wilhelm said placing the duffel back down on the floor by the dresser. "If you want, you can put the clothes in the dresser before dinner. I have to go set the table. Mother gets off soon and doesn't go back to work until Monday. I hope she lets you stay." Wilhelm smiled to Günther before leaving the room to set the dinner table.

Günther looked around the room. It was slightly smaller than Wilhelm's room, everything appeared grey and gloomy. The bed was a small twin, different shades of grey sheets and comforter. It looked very orderly and clean. Why does such a small house, have a guest bedroom? Günther wondered as he walked to the window. The sky was a deep blue with colors of pink, orange and purple mixed in with the horizon of buildings. It was so beautiful to see the colors mixing in the sky. Günther turned to the dresser, a rectangular mirror sat on top of it and Günther not only saw himself in the mirror but he saw a small square picture in the corner of the mirror. He walked up to the mirror and took the picture in his hand. It was a black and white image of a girl, she looked to be nine or ten and was wearing a nice dress. Günther thought, this must have been her room. Günther put the image back, grabbed the duffel bag and pushed over to the end of the bed. He heard the front door open and close loudly, making him jump.
