Wilhelm heard a thud from down the hall and rushed to the room Günther was staying in. Günther was on the floor rubbing his head, what Wilhelm couldn't see was the small tears rolling down Günther's cheeks. Wilhelm chuckled softly at the thought of Günther rolling out of the small bed because of sleep.
"My bed is bigger, want to sleep with me tonight?" Wilhelm asked walking over to Günther and extending his hand. Günther took his hand slowly and sniffled lightly, wiping his eyes. "You okay?" Wilhelm asked cautiously. Günther nodded following Wilhelm out of the room he was staying in and down the hall to Wilhelm's room. Günther laid on the soft mattress and sighed. Wilhelm laid next to Günther and looked over to him. His eyes fluttered shut as sleep engulfed him, Wilhelm smiled at the boy's peaceful expression before he too fell asleep.
Wilhelm woke to crying next to him, he looked over and saw Günther curled up in the blankets pouting. He sat up and hugged the ball of blankets before him.
"What is wrong?" Wilhelm asked looking to the blankets. As they shifted Günther's head peaked out from one side, the darkness made it hard to see but Wilhelm could tell he had tear stained cheeks. Wilhelm wiped the tears off with the blanket before scanning it for recognition. Günther hiccupped before sniffling and wiping his nose.
"I-I had a n-nightm-mare." A quiet studder came from the shaking boy. Wilhelm hugged him close as he started to cry more. He started to rock them back and forth slowly to comfort Günther more.
"Sshh, it's okay. It was just a nightmare. There is nothing to worry about. Sshh, it's okay." Wilhelm comforted softly as Günther slowly stopped crying and fell asleep. Wilhelm continued to rock back and forth after but soon laid back and fell asleep. That was the only time they woke up that night. They slept for the rest of the night peacefully.
Night seemed to fly by fast and soon it was morning. Günther was still in the blankets, on Wilhelm and Wilhelm was laying there as if nothing had happened. The sunlight soon woke Wilhelm, he rubbed his tired eyes and tried to sit up. He was stopped by a weight pushing on him. He looked to his chest and saw blankets balled up. Then he remembered Günther had a nightmare last night and he hugged him. Günther grumbled, rolled off Wilhelm and almost hit the floor. Wilhelm's attempt to stop Günther from hitting the floor worked, he just ended up hitting the floor instead. Wilhelm sighed and laid on the floor, eyes shut with a pained look on his face. Günther started to move and soon sat up. He looked to Wilhelm and tilted his head to the side, lifting an eyebrow in confusion.
"What is wrong Wilhelm? Did you hit something?" Günther asked looking at Wilhelm below him. He then moved off from Wilhelm and sat next to him. He glanced around and realized they were on the floor. "Oh. We fell out of bed. Sorry, I landed on you." Günther rubbed the side of his head with a small smile. Wilhelm shook his head and sat up.
"It is okay. I'm fine." Wilhelm leaned against the bad side and looked to the window. "It is Saturday morning and the sun greets us with a bright beaming smile. Güten Morgen." Wilhelm spoke before standing, Günther nodded.
"Güten Morgen Sonne." Günther beamed to the sun shining through the window. Wilhelm walked to his dresser and got dressed. He ware a white button up, with black shorts, he tucked in his shirt and clipped on his black suspenders. Günther walked to the room the duffel bag was in, grabbed the bag and left the room. He closed the door behind him and headed to Wilhelm's room. Wilhelm was combing his hair in the mirror, Günther placed the duffel bag on the floor next to the door and started to change. He ware a pale blue button up that he tucked into tan colored shorts. "Wilhelm?" Günther turned to Wilhelm while he held up his pants. "I think a need a belt."
Wilhelm nodded to him before pulling a black leather belt from his top dresser drawer. He walked to Günther and pushed the belt through the belt loops. He buckled it in the front and stood. Günther smiled happily looking up at Wilhelm. He had never waren something so nice before, this was great. Günther took Wilhelm's hand as they headed down to breakfast.
