Someone Like Me

Chapter 2

Jimin's POV

I can't help myself but to smile while answering these questions. We're having an interview for a magazine today. We're this month's cover and since it's month of February or what they call month of love, they are trying to dig about what traits of a girl interests and attracts us. It is my turn to answer now and Seulgi noona is the only one I can think of.

I cleared my throat before answering. "Uhmm, for me a girl with a long hair is really attractive. Someone who is shorter than me so I would look tall," the other members laughed "I like a girl with a fashion that looks refreshing. A cute girl who have lots of aegyo, and,"  I paused for a while after an old memory flashed in my mind, "— a girl with single eyelid."

The interview went well and we are on our way to somewhere where we can eat. I heard from our manager that we're going to attend a variety show today. The Boss is Watching is the title of the show. I heard that Red Velvet sunbae-nims are going to be there and that made me feel giddy.

Our van stopped outside a restaurant with only few customers. We hop out and get inside the restaurant made sure that no one will notice us to avoid trouble and find seats away from other customers. Our manager pointed lots of food on the menu, as usual we are going to eat a lot again. The waiter repeated the order and went to the kitchen afterwards.

"You guys did a great job in your interview. It's good that you didn't drop too specific characteristics of a girl. You know how netizens' minds work. They might make lots of rumors again and we are avoiding that." Our manager said. The foods started to come and after a minute, all of them are already set on our table. We started eating but not leaving the topic manager-nim dropped.

"We know that manager-nim and we are trying our best not to do things that can cause trouble and be a source of nonsense rumors." Rapmon hyung said after munching a bite of his food.

"But isn't our Jiminnie too obvious on who he is pertaining to during the interview?" Taehyung said as he threw a playfull grin to me.

"What are you saying Taehyung-ah? I didn't drop lots of traits to avoid something wrong to happen." I said as a defense.

"Besides, what Jimin hyung said can lead to many different idols you know. Kim Dahyun of TWICE can be one of them." Jungkook said. I know TWICE. We have met them in different shows already but I didn't know that their rapper has the characteristics that I said. Besides, I am not paying much attention to them I guess.

"Woah. Are you just that observant or you're fanboying over TWICE now? And it seems that you have a favorite one already, huh? How come you know that Dahyun has those traits? And wait, isn't your ideal type shouts Kim Dahyun?" J-Hope hyung teased as he nudges Jungkook who looks just like a tomato right now.

"W-what are you saying hyung? IU sunbae is my only i-ideal girl," Jungkook stuttered while explaining.

"But you are a blushing mess right now!" I joined the teasing.

"I shouldn't have commented. We are talking about Jimin hyung a while ago, why not just talk about him again?" Jungkook said, annoyed, as he rolled his eyes and went back to his food.

We all laughed at our cute maknae's reaction and started eating again while having small chats.

"I'm fuuuull. Makes me even more sleepy," Suga hyung said as we enter the van.

"Are we going to the shooting place now, manager-nim?" Jin hyung asked.

"Yes, that's right. Hitman PD-nim is on the set already. You guys should behave."

"Naeeee!" We said in unison.

We are inside our dressing room and we are preparing for the show right now. I am sitting on a couch waiting for the others for my make-up is already done. My phone beeped and I saw a message from Seulgi noona.

"Jiminnie~ We are in the filming place already. Looking forward to see you. :)"

I smiled after reading the message and typed a reply immediately.

"We're also here already noona. I'm waiting for the other members to finish their make-ups. I'm really excited to see you again."

I tapped the send button and waited for a reply. Suga hyung then sat beside me. "Is that Seulgi noona?"

"Yes hyung," I answered with a smile.

He nodded and ask, "So they are one of the invited groups I suppose?"

"Yes! That's right," I answered with a giddy voice.

"I heard TWICE is also here. Well I'm saying this cause I know our maknae minds it," Rapmon hyung said as he chuckle.

"Why me again? Stop it hyung!" Jungkook whined as he tried to find something to throw to Rapmon hyung.

"Stay still Jungkook. I am not yet done with your hair," stylist noona said. Jungkook then sat straight and apologize. The other members just laugh at him. 'Aigoo, poor bunny' I thought. My phone beeped again and I saw what I expected.

"See you later then!"

"Yes, noona. See you."

I kept my phone in my pocket. Jin hyung then shouted, "I'm going to watch rehearsals! Who's coming with me?!"

"Me!" Hoseok hyung shouted. "And also Jungkook!" He added.

"You're coming with us Jungkook-ah?" Jin hyung asked.

Jungkook stand from the chair where he was seated, his hair is done now. "Okay," he answered and shrugged.

Jin hyung turn his gaze to me. "Do you wanna come?" I shake my head saying no. "I'll just stay here hyung."

"Okay! We're going!" Jin hyung together with Hoseok hyung and Jungkookie went out of the room.

"Wait!! I'm coming too!" Taehyung run after them.
