Chapter 30

Omniscient

Hoseok rushed to the living room after hearing the boys fuss over something he's unaware of.

He saw Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook sitting on the floor, just infront of the couch where Yoongi lies comfortably, his feet on Taehyung's lap while Namjoon was seated on a separate chair, adjusting the volume.

"What is this all about?" He asked while struggling to fit himself on the limited space beside Namjoon.

"Jimin and Dahyun's guesting on The Return of Superman will air in a few minutes." Yoongi answered, his eyes closed.

"I'm so excited to see Daddy Jimiiiin!" Taehyung bantered, hitting Jimin's back repeatedly while the latter hides his face in his hoodie. Jin joined the teasing
and nudged Jimin who dramatically lands on Jungkook's lap and didn't bother getting up. Jungkook just laughed at the goofy nature of his hyungs.

"It's starting everyone. Stop fooling around. Let's watch Dahyunnie." Namjoon interfered, adjusting the volume to its highest.

"Dahyun only? Not me?" Jimin asked, with an offended tone.

Yoongi, who's now using his elbow to support his head in order to have a better view replied, "Yes Jimin, now shut up."

Jimin just pouted and directed his attention towards the show, his head still resting on Jungkook's lap. The boys keep on commenting how adorable Dahyun and Seungjae are, purposely ignoring Jimin's appearance.

"Hey Jimin-ah, why did you let my sister clean up all that mess by herself? That's not how I raise you." Jin hits his butt and the rest laugh out loud and continued watching.

"Oh gosh, he called them mom and dad." Taehyung commented, hitting Yoongi's feet as he was reduced to a laughing mess.

"Woah woah. You even wiped the smeared food on her lips." Namjoon said pointing at the screen as if accusing someone of committing a crime.

"Who gave you the right?" Yoongi kicked him lightly.

"They do look like a couple though." Hoseok uttered with a grin but immediately covered his mouth after his eyes landed on Jungkook who's watching intently.

Jungkook sensed six pairs of eyes that are now fixed on him.

"What?" He asked, cocking his brow.

"Sorry. I forgot you like her, Jungkook-ah." Hoseok hastily said.

Jungkook released a chuckle and set his eyes back on the screen.

"I don't. Don't anymore." He said nonchalantly.

"So if any of you wants to date her, I won't mind." He continued giving a quick glance at Jimin who's staring at him from his lap.

"Cause you all look smitten with her." He added, laughing half-heartedly.

"I would actually do if I have the energy." Yoongi admitted causing all of them to crack up.

The boys continued watching, praising Jimin for protecting Dahyun from the crash. But moments later, they are complaining how lucky Jimin is to have Dahyun asleep on his shoulder. Jungkook scoffs and snickers at that.

"We even hug for minutes and I can always do that whenever I want. Perks of being the bestfriend." The latter boasts with a grin.

"Yeah, suit yourself, bestie." Taehyung mocked.

The rest was spent with teasing and bickering here and there. It was when Dahyun hid her face on Jimin's chest while crying that Jungkook excused himself. Jimin sat up from his lap and looked at him with puzzled eyes.
