Chapter 24

Omniscient

The previous days were a torture to Jimin. He hardly gets a blink of sleep ever since that performance night due to the thoughts that kept clouding his mind. He had been contemplating whether it's the right thing to do or not.

He woke up early or maybe he's still awake that early and was planning to spend his whole day in their practice room again. The male was stuffing the last bits of his breakfast in his mouth when he overheard a phone call. His brow cocked and a small smile appeared on his face.

He was about to text someone when his phone vibrated flaunting just the right contact he wanted to see.

Seulgi Noona
You free? Wanna hangout?

Sure. At the usual place.

He grinned and brush his locks backwards.

Great. He thought.

He immediately changed into thick clothes, a mask and cap and left their almost empty dorm.

He arrived at the place and saw a blonde girl leaning on the wall. As the girl looked up and met his gaze, a wide smile immediately spread across his countenance.

He jog to her place and greeted her.

"Hey. Blonde looks great on you, noona." He commented.

Seulgi stood straight and started walking towards the glass door while Jimin walks by her side.

"You hitting on me?" She chuckled.

"Yeah. Obviously." He shrugged and open the door for them.

As they entered the café, a small commotion immediately caught their attention.

Two tall guys are bickering with each other while a short girl was trapped in between them.

As they walk closer to the three, they immediately recognize who they are. An uneasy feeling immediately settled inside Seulgi as she eyed the girl looking so done with the males surrounding her.

"Ohh." Jimin uttered loud enough to be heard by the three.

The trio whipped their head at the same time to see the person who spoke.

Dahyun was utterly shocked seeing the two. Her eyes were wide open as she gulped. She immediately stood straight when she felt the arm around her neck loosen.

Dahyun greeted them first to show respect since they are her seniors.

"Hello." She said and bowed timidly.

"Hyung." Jungkook said. He, too, was Jungshook to see his hyung. Not because it's unusual for Jimin to go out during their breaks but because he's with his ex.

Yugyeom just gave them a nod and Seulgi bowed back.

"Woah. I didn't expect to see you guys here." Jimin said displaying a warm smile.

Dahyun tugs the hem of her sweater to ease the anxiousness she's feeling due to the intimidating stare Seulgi is giving to her.

"Well, yeah. Me too. Thought you'll be in the practice room all day again." Jungkook said eyeing the two, trying to decipher whether they are really together again.

"I originally planned to do that but I wanted to hangout too." Jimin said as he removed his cap, sporting his blue fringe.

Dahyun was in awe. She tried to get her eyes off of him but it is too hard. So far, it's her favorite look of him. Those icy locks gives off great contrast with the man's warm smile.
