Omniscient
They rode a bus to get to the nearest ski resort on the area. Seungjae told them that he wanted to learn how to ski but his parents barely got time out of work. The two agreed and were delighted to accompany him in experiencing something new.
They wasted no time and immediately rented the gears needed after ariving at the place. They can see people gliding over the slippery snow, their faces displaying warm smiles despite the cold weather.
An instructor attended to them and taught them necessary things for skiing. Jimin wasn't completely new to the activity but the girl beside him surely is. Her brows form creases while listening to the instructor.
"Whenever you feel like falling, keep in mind that you must land on your body part with most fat.."
"On our butts!" Seungjae giddily said, even raising an arm as if he's in class.
"Yes, that's right, to make it less painful and to avoid worse injuries." The instructor continued.
After long minutes of explaining, the teacher left the three and let them do the actual thing.
"You're doing good. Form a triangle." Jimin assisted Seungjae while Dahyun stood there, frozen on her spot akin to a snowman that the kids on the sidelines are making.
When Seungjae finally got the hang of it, Jimin let him do as he please but still kept an eye on him. He suddenly remembered that there are three of them filming.
He searched for Dahyun on the field but found her on the sidelines instead. He almost burst out laughing after seeing Dahyun making snowman with the kids instead of skiing.
He turned to look at Seungjae again, his brows raised after catching Seungjae holding hands with a girl as they ski slowly.
Pretty slick. That's my boy. He chuckled and talked to one of the staffs, asking her to look over Seungjae for a while. He glided his way towards Dahyun who was surprised by his presence. She immediately stood up and brushed the snow off of her.
"Last time I checked, we went here for skiing and not for snowmen." Jimin said with a teasing tone.
"Uhh.. I don't think I can do it." Dahyun admitted with a bashful smile.
"Yes you can. Just look at Seungjae, he is now skiing his way to a girl's heart." Jimin said and laughed. Dahyun joined him after seeing the child winking at the girl he's playing with.
"C'mon." Jimin offered his hand. Dahyun flickered her hesitant eyes on his hand and his eyes.
"Take my hand. Don't be afraid to fall." Jimin said with a small smile.
Her breathing hitched, either because of the nervousness or the implication of his words to her, she doesn't know. She placed her palm on his, thinking that it fits there perfectly, maybe wanting it to stay there permanently. She gave her hand to him including her trust. She removed all the restraints that was keeping her, keeping her heart. She's no longer afraid of falling.
Seconds after, she find herself sliding on the snow. Her balance was terrible, that's for sure, but she isn't afraid. The warmth from his hand gave her a feeling of security. Eventually, she managed to slide by herselfelf. Jimin was there, applauding and cheering like it was something to be proud of. Jimin actually wanted to try skiing with ski poles but he preferred to go with Dahyun's pace rather than having fun all by himself.
The three of them glide on the snow for hours, sliding hand in hand, sliding on their butts, messing with each other. Dahyun who was hesitant at first became giddy and never stopped skiing after learning to keep her balance. Jimin and Seungjae just watch her making animated expressions while sliding, effectively capturing laughters from them.
