The next morning, Shawn woke up when his alarm went off at 6:30 in the morning. He promptly showered and got dressed before making his way to Rio's room in the house, to wake the boy up. When Shawn and Rachel were still together awaiting the arrival of their son, they decided to buy a house with the help from their parents. Of course, after she left the house was empty and Shawn had a king sized bed to himself but he wouldn't move out of the house. He didn't have enough money to buy a house and he didn't need to downsize, so what was the point? Shawn shook the boy awake and instructed him to get dressed and meet him downstairs for breakfast.

As Shawn made breakfast, he thought back to the previous night. Camila had clearly thought that Shawn was going to tell her that she wasn't responsible for his child, but he really did trust the woman, she showed genuine interest in his son and what he liked and she was willing to help him. He's never met anyone like her and he wasn't about to let her go. He felt his heart flutter when she showed deep sadness for what she thought was going to be the end of her time with Rio. So, of course, he had to give her another chance.

They exchanged details and times and Shawn knew that today he was going to be much later than he was yesterday, especially since Austin was pissed at him and was mostly likely going to come into the office and claim Shawn has been trying to get off with his 'girlfriend' instead of doing the work and Shawn would suffer the consequences for something he didn't do. Camila promised to take good care of Rio and take him food shopping with her to restock her fridge after school and Shawn promised not to be too late but she reassured him that she didn't mind. She really was a remarkable woman in Shawn's eyes.

As Shawn flipped the last pancake onto the plate, Rio came bounding down the stairs. "Excited are you?" The boy nodded. "I get to see Camila again!" He giggled clapping his hands together. "I know, buddy. Remember on your best behaviour." He nodded again, "Yes Daddy." Shawn smiled and kissed him on the forehead, handing him his pancakes, "Eat up."

The two quietly ate their breakfast as Shawn watched the news on the TV about the latest drama going on in the world. He rolled his eyes as Kim Kardashian appeared on the screen. He turned to Rio, "Champ if there's ever anything I don't want you to do, it's admiring a reality star. Promise me that you'll never do that?" He begged his son. "Ok, daddy." He breathed a sigh of relief.

"Alright then." He collected his and Rio's bowls before washing them in the sink and placing them in the rack to dry. "Let's go." He moved to collect his rucksack for work containing his lunch since he could never find time for a lunch break. "Come on Buddy." Rio picked up his school bag and ran towards their car.

He unlocked the car and opened the passenger seat to chuck his bag in before helping Rio into his booster seat, since he still wasn't tall enough not to sit on one, much to the boy's chagrin.

Ten minutes later they arrived at the school and quickly made their way out heading towards Camila's classroom. The two entered and Rio immediately ran up to Camila. "Miss Cabello!" Camila hugged back before looking up at Shawn. "Hey." He smiled back, "Hey." The woman let go of Rio and moved to hug Shawn. He quickly hugged back before they pulled away. "So I'll pick him up later tonight?" The woman nodded, at the current moment, she had a locksmith changing her locks so that Austin couldn't get back in.

"Ok then. I'll be off." He crouched down and hugged Rio before kissing his forehead. "I love you, buddy." "I love you too." He mumbled. Shawn pulled away and stood up, when he caught sight of someone he had no interest in seeing. "Shawn!" The woman squealed running up to him and placing a hard kiss on his cheek.

Camila looked at them questioningly, Shawn never said he had a girlfriend. Shawn quickly pulled away from the woman. "Emily." He greeted, telling Camila that she was not his girlfriend, but the mother of a girl in her class. She breathed a sigh of relief. "I haven't seen you in ages!" Emily exclaimed. "Yeah, I've been working." Shawn excused, rolling his eyes as Camila stifled a snicker.
