Shawn immediately pulled away from the kiss, it had been six years since he had last seen his ex and he wasn't a cheater. He'd moved on to Camila and he wasn't just going to go back to Rachel. "Shawn, you love me remember?" She asked, still giggling. Shawn shook his head, pulling away completely and moved over to Camila. "No, I don't Rachel. It's been six years. I've moved on. This is Camila, my girlfriend." A scowl immediately appeared onto Rachel's face. "And what is she doing with my son?"

A scowl appeared on Shawn's face, "How is he your son when you left him?" He accused, moving to the door ready to open it and slam it closed. "Well, if you're not going to listen to me, then I'll just take Rio and leave." Rachel stepped forward towards Camila and grabbed a hold of Rio. Tugging him out of her arms and moving to leave, when Shawn grabbed a hold of her shoulder, turning her around. Rio then started to rouse, groaning and moaning. "You woke him up. You're clearly a mediocre father. It's alright, baby, Mama's home."

Rio's eyes opened and he looked up at the woman holding him. "Who are you?" She smiled down at him. "I'm your mama." The boy's eyes widened and he attempted to pull away from her arms. "No! Get away from me!" He squirmed before slamming his hand in her face causing him to let go and drop Rio.

He tumbled to the floor before clambering up and running to Shawn. Shawn wrapped his arms around Rio and held him tight. "You're not taking my son, if you want him then you should've wanted him from the start." He turned towards the door, placed Rio inside and lead Camila in as well. "Stay inside." He turned and shut the door before making his way down the porch and in front of Rachel.

"Why have you come back?" He asked staring into the eyes of the woman he once loved. She grinned, "I came to be with you and Rio, to be a family again." "Why would we be a family again now? After six years of you not being here." She looked up innocently at him and Shawn clenched his fist. "Because you still love me."

Shawn felt his blood boil, "Get off of my property." She shook her head. "No, it's mine too. It's in both our names." Shawn smirked, shaking his head. "Not anymore." Her face fell in shock. "Why would you take my name off of the house? I was always going to come back." She quietly murmured. Shawn felt tears brim in his eyes, "How would I know that, huh? You disappeared the moment you were discharged and I hoped for two years that maybe you'd return. Of course, I'd give up and I chose to move on."

He looked over to Rachel, who too had tears falling down her face. "I'm sorry, Shawn." He shook his head, "I can't do this right now, Rachel. Maybe soon, but not now." She nodded, looking down. "I understand." She walked forward and leant up, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "I hope you can forgive me. Even if we can't get back together." He smiled softly before turning around and stepping through the door.

He looked around and found neither Camila or Rio in the room anymore. He searched the rest of the downstairs to find no one there. He made his way upstairs, where he heard quiet talking, "Is Daddy going to leave you?" Rio's voice filtered through. "I don't know, Rio. It's up to Daddy, but whatever happens, Daddy wants the best for you. Even if that doesn't include me." Camila whispered back.

"Mama, don't cry." Rio whimpered and Shawn's heart broke. He knew Rachel was the mother of his child and his former love, but he couldn't leave Camila, not when he'd just gotten her. She fixed him and he wasn't about to let her go anytime soon.

He looked up to find Camila closing Rio's door, tear stains on her face and he stepped forward pulling her into his arms. "Don't you dare think I'll leave you. Ever." He whispered pressing his lips to her forehead. Camila looked up and gave a smile, tears building up again. "But-"

Shawn cut her off, pressing his lips to her and picking her up, hands wrapped around her waist and moving to his bedroom. He sat down and held her on her lap as he kissed her. "I love you." He whispered. She pulled away and for a moment, Shawn felt fear, what if she left him because she wasn't ready to love him.

"Really?" He nodded, capturing her lips in another kiss. "I love everything about you." He lifted his hands to her face, "Your eyes, your hair, your lips, especially your lips." He murmured as he kissed once more and moved his hands to her waist, "But most of all, I love your personality, it's what makes you, you." She smiled and caught his lips in another kiss.

They kissed long and hard, expressing their love and adoration for one another, "I love you too, Shawn." He smiled and pulled away, "Come on, let's get some sleep." She shook her head. "What?" He asked.

"What about Rachel? It is her son." He shrugged, "I don't know, ok? I can't tell her you're never allowed to see him. I think I'll talk over with her, but nowhere near here. I don't want her in this house. It just brings back too many memories." She nodded, "Alright, I'll be here to support you." He smiled and pulled her into his arms, climbing into the duvet and slowly fall to sleep.

Shawn woke up in the middle of the night to his phone buzzing. He groaned and pulled his arm away from Camila and reached over to the device. He didn't look at who was calling him and reached over swiping the answer button. "Hello?" He murmured quietly, trying not to wake Camila. "Shawn?" He lifted himself from the pillow, "Rachel?"

Shawn sighed, it was three in the morning. He knew he had to deal with his ex at some point, but not right now. Couldn't she wait until morning? "I'm standing on your porch." He shot up out of bed and made his way down the stairs, stopping just short of the door. "Why?" Her sigh sounded through the door and the phone. "I tried finding a hotel. No luck. I went to my parents who turned me away because I've stopped them from seeing their grandchild and your parents slammed the door in my face before I even opened my mouth."

Shawn slowly opened the door, hanging up. "And now you're hoping, I'll let you in." She nodded, looking down. "Why should I?" She looked up desperately, "Please Shawn. I have nowhere to go and I won't be able to last sleeping on the streets, please let me stay." He sighed. He didn't love anymore, he knew that. But he still cared for her, she was his son's mother. If anything happened to her because he turned her away, he wasn't sure what he would do. But he knew he would feel guilty beyond belief and so he opened his door allowing her in.

He lead her up to the spare room before looking at her, "How long are you going to be staying here?" She shrugged, "I don't know. I was hoping to get you and Rio back, but clearly, I can't do that." He sat down next to her. "So what are you going to do instead?" She shrugged before resting her head on his shoulder. "I don't know, but I'm hoping, you'll let me get to know my son. Even if I don't deserve it."
