Camila stood at her whiteboard, writing out the various maths problems for her students to complete. As she wrote, she couldn't help but wish that she was not having to use teaching as the only time that she could spend with Rio. She had begun to see Rio as her own son and she felt terrible to have to pull the plug on their blossoming friendship, but it was for the best.

Or at least that was what she told herself.

It had been two weeks since the strange therapist appointment and Camila still felt awkward about meeting yet another of Shawn's past relationships. Clearly, she was the first as Shawn had gotten with Rachel at 18, so she didn't have to worry about meeting another former love, which was quite possibly the only benefit of her encounter with Hailey.

Sighing, Camila shook her head and finished writing up the various problems. She turned around and instructed the class to get on with the rather simplistic questions. She sat and went through her various papers before looking up and staring at her class.

She glanced over, checking that they were all working on what she had put up on the board, before her eyes settled in Rio. He looked so adorable to her, she reminded him so much of Shawn with the way he let his tongue stick out, much like Shawn when he was confused. She let out a soft giggle at the thought, which provoked a few children to glance at her. She looked away and turned back to her papers.

She stared at the papers in longing as thoughts of Shawn, once again entered her mind. She missed him, dearly. She really did. At night, when she lay in her bed, she often lay wide awake and every so often would reach over in her sleep exhausted state and attempt to pull Shawn into her hold, only to remember that he was no longer there because she had called things off.

Tears slipped down her face as she recalled the many memories she had created with Shawn. They were such a happy couple, bringing one another such happiness, but here they were struggling once more.

She was brought out of her dreary thoughts as the bell rang throughout the school. She sighed and swiped at her tears before standing up, "Ok, kids. Follow Miss Hansen's class out to the playground and I'll see you in fifteen minutes." She dismissed the kids, watching them all run out with coats and gloves hanging from their hands.

She sighed and pressed her head to the table and let the tears fall once more. What am I doing? She questioned in her head, she was a strong independent woman, why was she crying over a guy. Because that guy is Shawn, the most handsome face you've ever laid eyes on and has the most adorable son in the world.

She rolled her eyes at the voice in her head. It had been constantly telling her to go back to Shawn because he made her happiest, it hadn't left her alone since their break up, but Camila refused to go back until he was ready and who knows when that may be.

But maybe he'll improve with you there?

She shook her head, dismissing the thoughts once more and rested her head once more, trying to sleep again.

"Mila?" Her head snapped up and bashed against a shelf before connecting with Rio's face. The boy's small face stared at her in concern and ran over to her wrapping his small arms around her neck. "Why are you crying, Mila?" He whispered in her ear. She shrugged and kissed his forehead. "It doesn't matter, baby."
