Kaneki's POV
"Are we there yet?" I ask. "Not yet, Mon Cher," Tsukiyama replies. We've been walking forever now! Where is the damn place?
"Are we there yet?" I ask again, slightly agitated. "Yes, we are," Tsukiyama replies. I look around. We're at a park!
I smile brightly. The park is beautiful! It's farther away from the city so you can actually see the moon and stars! Tsukiyama picked out an excellent location! Hopefully he has something good planned~
"What do you think?" He asks. "I love it!" I reply, "it's beautiful!" Tsukiyama smiles at me, "I'm glad you like it." Well, he definitely won't be on the couch tonight. Like our last date.
"So, what do you have planned?" I ask Tsukiyama. He gives me a mischievous look, "Only time will tell." Oh, you bastard.
"Just to let you know, you are not having sex with me in an abandoned park," I state. Tsukiyama looks at me before laughing. "You honestly thought that I brought you out here to do that? I had no idea how funny you were, Kaneki," he says.
What? It sounded like something he would do!
"Then, what are we doing?" I ask again. "As I said, only time will tell. Wherever the night takes us," Tsukiyama replies. This is so annoying! Why won't he tell me anything?
I shrug it off and follow Tsuki. As we walk farther into the park, I see a clearing. Tsukiyama grabs my hand and practically drags me to it. I finally get my hand back when he stops. "What the heck was that?" I ask. "You know how you've always wanted to see the stars clearly?" He asks.
"Yeah," I reply, "but how did you find out about it?"
"Your mother," Tsuki says, smiling. Way to go, mother.
I don't question Tsukiyama anymore. I've learned that he's weird and unpredictable. Which is good in it's own way.
The both of us lay down in the grass. I shyly lay my head on Tsuki's chest and he wraps an arm around me. I listen to his steady heartbeat. It's really soothing.
I look up at the stars. I connect all of the constellations in my head. Yeah, call me an astronomical nerd, I don't care. I just love it!
"I love you," I hear Tsukiyama whisper. I feel my face burn. This is only the second time he's said this to me. "I-I love you too, Tsuki." Hmm, less stuttering this time. We're getting there~
