We were on our way home I suppose, because we didn't have anything planned after this. There was a silence in the car, but it wasn't an awkward silence, just a peaceful nice silence with the radio softly playing throughout the car. My hair blew in the wind, and I glanced over at DeAngelo who was focused on the road. His jaw was clenched, showing the perfect bone structure of his face, and pouted lips.
I smiled at how handsome he was right now, and I bet he don't even know it, "You know you look good from the side?" He looked over at me and laughed a little.
"So are you tryna say I'm ugly when you lookin' at my whole face?" I busted up laughing, because he is good at switching people words up.
"No. That's not what I'm saying. You just look very good from the side." He gave me a half smiled and thanked me.
We came to a slow stop in front of a beach. I widened my eyes, and pushed him. I love the beach, mainly because it's like a peace treatment. My happy place where I leave all the stress behind.
"You should have told me we were coming here, I would have dressed more casual." I wined.
"You are casual. Casual and beautiful." I blushed and turned the other way.
"Very smooth. Now hurry and give her the money." He laughed and handed the girl our parking fee.
We were hand in hand walking along the shore. I took my shoes off, but Mr. TooCool left his on. His feet might be ugly (lmaoo) you never know. The wind was really blowing, and having this dress on made it no better, but I stuck through it like a champ.
"We may have just started talking, and becoming close, but I just feel like we have chemistry you know?" I nodded.
"We definitely do have chemistry. We never liked one another, therefore we gave each other the cold shoulder, and teased each other." He laughed and I did too.
"That did happen, but I mean besides that. Like I feel like we have a good chemistry. This good vibe that makes me think I been knew you." I nodded understanding.
"It get's, like that sometimes. It happens when you start feeling somebody." He gave me the side eye.
"How do you know that ?" I shrugged not really knowing myself.
"I honestly don't know, but I get that feeling too." We paused, and faced the water.
"You see that over there ? Look at that fin in the water." I squinted my blind ass eyes, and seen the fin of the dolphin jump up in the air and back into the water.
"Oh my God that's amazing. I've never seen a dolphin before. They are my faaaaavorite. DeAngelo looooook!" I was beyond excited right now, and the way he looked at me, made me laugh.
"Are you serious ? I see these creatures every time I come here." I smacked my lips.
"They're dolphins not creatures, you hater." He held his hands up in surrender, and dropped his arms staring at me.
"Stand right there. I wanna take a picture of you." I got nervous, but stood there anyways.
"I'm not really a picture person though." I complained. I didn't want it to come out ugly, and he see's it.
"Just stand there and look beautiful. Make sure you pose a little for me." I huffed, and stood there trying to pose and smile.
"Don't look so stiff. Come on before I push you in the water." I laughed.
"Please. That'll be the day you loose your life." I posed some more and smiled.
"Look!" I looked at all the photo's and they actually came out good. While I swiped, he just stared at me. The way he looked at me, just gave me this feeling to just jump on him, but instead, I just kissed him, and he kissed back. This was a deep I don't want to let go kiss. I was breathless after the kiss, and licked my lips. He smiled and did the same showing off his cute dimple. I smiled and showed him he wasn't the only one with a dimple.
"Copycat. You wanna do something crazy. It may hurt."
"What's up with you always wanting to do all this crazy stuff ?" He's always into something.
"You down or what ?" I nodded, and he grabbed my hand leading me through the people on the beach.
We landed in front of this tattoo place at the shopping center part of the beach. I looked at him and shook my head no.
"Yo. I can't do this. I hear you can get diseases and things from they needles, and the pain is unbearable. DeAngelo-"
"You said you was down, so there ain't no turning back. I'll be right by your side, and I'm getting something done myself." I rolled my eyes and closed them nodding.
"Come on now. I don't want to force you, so say yes if you sure, but if not we can just go do something else. I won't be mad or none."
"Yes. Come on I'll do it. Get in there before I change my mind." He picked me up, and carried me into the tattoo shop. I laughed and he placed me down.
"Hey welcome to Amazing Ink. Have you decided on what you want today?" We both nodded our heads. I just wanted something simple and small.
"Alright. Y'all will be after the next 2." My blood was pumping and I was excited. Doing something without thinking it all the way through is crazy. Next thing I know we're bring called to the back. I was more than ready for this and I had him by my side. I wonder what he's going to get. Some crazy exotic shit. I'ma laugh if it's something stupid watch. Just watch.
