"No more, you're cut off." Nazz said pulling the shot glass away from Kevin and taking it herself. It's amazing how no place around here cards anyone. "You pregamed too hard and I do not want to clean up any messes. Come on let's just enjoy the music!" The blonde shouts over the loud music, grabbing his hand and pulling him to the floor before he could object. Nazz was filled in on the situation and even though she is very attracted to Kevin....she knows what it's like to be in Edd's shoes so out of respect she keeps her distance. The hours pass and the two young adults are exhausted. "Thanks Nazz, I needed this." Kevin said with his charming smile as they stumbled out the club. The two both weren't quite ready to go home yet, it's not like they had anyone to go home to anyway. "Hey, want to just wander around?" The ginger suggested as the blonde nodded with a soft smile. The pair found a nearby park and sat on a bench. This was Kevin's first holiday season without a family and he was definitely feeling it. He looked down at the bare sidewalk and sighed thinking about what he could have done to stop his parents. A hand on his shoulder suddenly brought him back to reality. His Emerald eyes lifted off the pavement and met sympathetic teal. "Why are you alone?" He asked causing Nazz's eyes to suddenly widen before turning sad.
There was a long awkward silence before finally the blonde opened her mouth. "I lost mine too." She mumbled. "I didn't lose them at the same time however. My mom was very sick from the moment I was born....She actually wasn't even expected to live past childbirth so the fact she lived until I was three is a miracle to me." Nazz said with a small smile, grateful for the time she had with her. "My dad basically drank himself to death after that. This isn't a sob story however and he wasn't abusive either if that's what you're thinking. The only one he ever hurt was himself. I got the news that he passed away on the day I graduated high school. I still walked across stage though. I thought....I thought I could make it on my own. I thought I could go to school but bills kept coming through and I was left with only enough to move out here and start over. I like the club, I really do. They don't make me do anything I'm uncomfortable with and I make enough to eat and live freely working there. I'm done crying over what happened because what's happened has happened. Of course I wish I had my parents but life isn't so bad." Nazz said finally putting on a genuine smile.
Kevin smiled back. He was amazed how someone could go through all that and still have a positive outlook. He just had to know her secret. "How?" He asked before he was met by a quirked brow. "How?" Nazz asked back confused. "Yeah, how do you do it?" The redhead asked. The blonde leaned back on the bench and looked up at the sky. "Because I don't want to die before I meet someone who loves me unconditionally." She said casually. Her answer made Kevin tense up. "Have you found someone yet?" He dared to ask causing her to giggle and bring her gaze back to the ginger. "Not quite, but I have a candidate." She said with a small grin. "Yeah? What's his name?" Kevin said playing ignorant as if he didn't know it was him. However her answer surprised him as she quietly whispered. "Tony."
Tony? Who was that. The redhead couldn't help but wonder what kind of guy he was. "Who is Tony? A friend?" Kevin asked absolutely curious now. "Jealous?" Nazz asked with a shit eating grin before looking down. "He's a guy I met recently. I've already hooked up with him but not in conventional kind of way. He's not that kind of man. I've never been so bold around anyone...well not in a long time at least." Nazz mumbled.
Kevin was a little curious about Nazz and more about her life. He had more questions but it was getting late and the liquor was wearing off. "Why don't we call it a night?" He suggested being met with a nod. Nazz got up as her phone vibrated. A new text from a co-worker reading "What are you up to? :)" She stoped in her tracks for a moment so the redhead could get ahead of her as she replied. "Nothing, just about to leave from hanging out with T.O.N.Y."
