"Man, I am tired." Kevin groaned as he stretched. His arm landed onto a slender shoulder as a giggle filled the room. It wasn't the giggle he was missing but it was indeed a sound he was growing used to as a small grin appeared on his face.
"I am no man." Nazz teased as her head settled into the cook of his shoulder and she sighed contently. This was the first successful date night they have ever had and she felt as if she were on top of the world. Finally, she felt as if Kevin was within her reach.
It has been a long few weeks for the pair. Kevin has been working almost every night and Nazz has been a saint, staying right by his side. Kevin's Popularity blew up at the club so for them to meet up with the demands, his job has called him in constantly which to say the least has worn him out. The club however noticed how much they were over working the ginger so they decided it was about time to give him some time off along with Nazz who has always been one of their top dancers. So finally here they were, alone, snuggled up, and happy.
"I'll go grab some popcorn for us!" Nazz said cheerfully as she got up, swaying her hips as she walked to the kitchen. Once she was out of sight Kevin leaned back into the couch and opened his phone to browse social media. Nothing interesting at first, just photos of old friends living their life. Just as he was about to close out the app a certain post caught his eye:
Eddward (Double D) Vincent is in a relationship with Zach Crandall.
Kevin stopped scrolling immediately and hovered his finger over the button to like the post. He stopped himself however once he heard the blonde fussing around in the kitchen.
"Babe?" Kevin called out before hearing a bowl hit the floor. Without hesitation, the ginger got up to see Nazz knelling and picking up the ceramic pieces. "Hey, hey. I got it." Kevin assured her. He got down to her level as their eyes met and she then looked away. Kevin wondered why she was even avoiding his gaze but he decided to clean first, ask later.
Once everything was picked up Kevin had made a whole new patch of popcorn before joining Nazz back on the couch. Something still seamed off so he decided it was finally time to ask. "What's wrong?" He asked quirking a brow.
Nazz was caught off guard by the sudden question and she wondered how he even noticed...actually now that she thought about it she had made it pretty clear that something was off but how was she supposed to tell him?
"Babe...?" Kevin tried. He and Nazz weren't even official or anything but for some reason it has been coming out naturally to call her that and in this moment he was honestly concerned. So concerned, he had even forgot about what he saw earlier. However, he did not want to pry so he decided to let her come around on her own time when he noticed her gaze shift once again.
Hours passed and Kevin was snoring on the couch in Nazz's apartment. The blonde giggled softly as she got up and grabbed a blanket to tuck him in. "Goodnight big red." She said as she leaned down to place a soft kiss on his forehead. She went to the kitchen and sat at the dinging room table looking down at her phone. She sighed heavily as she read over the message once more that had caught her off guard earlier in the evening.
Greetings and Salutations miss Nazz. I know that you may not remember me but I surely remember you. I am reaching out to you, not to be hostile, but actually quite the opposite. You see, I would reach out to Kevin myself but I have a feeling he would just ignore me so I am reaching out to you first. I am having a get together with some old friends and wanted to see if possibly you and Kevin would like to join us as well. Feel free to ignore this if you wish, I will understand completely. If you do wish do partake in this night however, please do inform me as quickly as you can.
