~ [Liam] ~I sat on my couch for what seemed like forever to forget the image of Mason kissing Evelyn's neck. It didn't work. I groaned as I finally gave up on my own mind and got up to start cleaning the mess that Mason left. Ev at least cleaned up after her Capri Sun, though I don't think she put it in the right trashcan.
After clearing the coffee table, I walked over to look into the waste bin where Ev threw her empty drink pouch. As I picked it up, I noticed something else shift in there that I didn't recall tossing out. Eyebrows scrunched, I grabbed the little scrap of paper and noticed the handwriting on it.
Ev's handwriting. Or at least, her high school handwriting.
"I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me, how much I feel for you."
What... What the fvck?

Mason was out of town and my mom had told me she was too busy at the company to get home on time today. I mean, she said she was sorry and even bought me a cake which sat in our fridge, but I was still bummed. I'm way too old to care this much but it's just been a gloomy day. Until now.
Ev always made things better.
I didn't know if it was just the way that she spoke or the things that she thought, but everything about her made everything okay for me.
I opened the gift to reveal a glass jar filled with little... stars? Geez, there's a shit ton in there.
