The One With The Guiltiness

Belle's POV

Clay needs to go! That's just a fact. He's already wedged himself between two relationships. I took a deep breath.

"Belle, what's wrong?" Lasercorn asked me. I sighed.

"It's Clay. I know him, and he hasn't changed," I said. Lasercorn nodded. The bell rang and we left class.

"What do you mean he hasn't changed?" Lasercorn asked. I grabbed his hand and dragged him over to the picnic tables.

"I left England because of Clay," I said. He nodded and put his arm around me. "He's known for ruining people's happiness. My ex and I broke up because of him."

"I'm kind of glad Clay did that," Lasercorn said with a grin. I looked at him confused. "Because if he didn't do that, than I wouldn't be with you." I smile at him and gave him a kiss.

"I love you Lcorn!" I said leaning into him. He kissed the top of my head.

"I love you too," he said. We sat there watching people just walk by. Wes walked by with Clay. I sat up.

"Oh no!" I said. Lasercorn looked over and saw what I saw. Wes nodded at Clay and walked over to Katy.

"There goes another couple!" Lasercorn said. I sighed and grabbed his hand.

"Let's see what happens!" I said. The two of us walked over to get a closer look.

"Listen Katy, you love Ian," Wes said. Katy looked at him confused. "You've loved him since grade 7, and you still love him."

"Wes, that was a little crush back in middle school. I'm over it. I love you Wes!" Katy said.

"No you don't, all of your feelings for me, are really for Ian!" Wes said. Katy shook her head, trying to hold back tears.

"That's not true! I love you Wes, only you!" Katy cried out.

"Katy! You and Ian are meant for each other! You two spied together, sang together, laughed together!" Wes said, raising his voice.

"No!" Katy screamed. "Wes, you saved me in the crash from getting physical injured. You and I had the best date on my birthday. Wes, I love you! I will alway love you." Wes sighed.

"We need to break up," Wes mumbled. Katy gasped.

"But Wes," Katy said grabbing his hands. He pulled away, causing Katy to frown.

"No! I just can't!" Wes said quietly.

"Wes," Katy said softly.

"Katy! Every time we kiss I feel guilty! Every hug! Every hand hold! Every touch! I feel guilty. You make me feel like I'm cheating!" Wes yelled. Katy went quiet. I looked at Lasercorn who was looking at me.

"Wes, I-" Katy said. Wes frowned.

"We're done, Katy. We have to be," Wes said. He started to walk away.

"Wes!" Katy called. He slowly turned back to her.

"What?" Wes asked sighing.

"Are we still friends?" She asked. He nodded.

"Friends!" Wes said before leaving for good. Katy wiped away her tears and went back inside.

"Lasercorn! I have no idea how Clay did this. How did he know?" I asked. Lasercorn shrugged.

"Well, Wes always looked guilty whenever he kissed Katy," Lasercorn said. I nodded and hugged him.

"Please don't leave me!" I mumbled into his ear. He nodded and hugged me back.

"I love you," Lasercorn said.

"I love you too."
