The One With Moving On With A Coffee Cup

Katy's POV

"Wanna watch a show, or something?" Ian shrugged.

"Sure, what do you wanna watch?" Ian asked. I smiled and he sighed. "No! I'm not watching Gilmore Girls!" Ian exclaimed causing me to laugh.

"But, Lorelai and Luke!" I said pouting. Ian rolled his eyes and I smiled. "I need to know if they are together! I'm only half way through season 3!" I told him. Ian sighed.

"Fine, let's watch it," Ian said sinking farther into the couch. I put the disc in the DVD player and hit play. Soon the theme song came on and Ian rolled his eyes. He knew what was coming next.

"Where you lead, I will follow!" I yelled trying to sing. Ian laughed. What made this even funnier is that he joined in with me. So, of course I had to Snapchat this.

"Anywhere, that you tell me to. If you need, need me to be with you. I'll follow where you lead!" We sang really badly. I stopped singing to post it on Snapchat it.

"Snapchat is going to love that," I said with a smile. Ian rolled his eyes and turned to the tv. I didn't realize that I was leaning my head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me. That night was the best night I've had in a long time. In that moment, I realized I really cared for Ian.

I woke up, confused. Yes, I knew that Ian and I sang Gilmore Girls, I saw it on Instagram and Snapchat. But it was that last part that confused me. I do care for Ian, but not in the way that the memory says I do. Or do I? Well then why did I date Wes? I looked at my clock and saw that it was 12:09 am on Wednesday. I was still in my clothes from yesterday. I got up and left the house. There was one place that I needed to go, the one place I go when I need some help. Ricky's. I lived pretty far from Ricky's so I gave Leo a call.

"Leo?" I asked well I huddled up outside of my house.

"Kat! What's up?" He asked. I could here some people laughing in the background.

"Would you be able to give me a ride to Ricky's?" I asked. There was a crash in the background.

"Yeah, I need to get out of here anyways. I'll be 5 minutes," Leo said hanging up the phone. I looked at my phone and opened Snapchat.

Katy_b: Ian, are you working at Ricky's right now?

I didn't get a response. Leo pulled up to the house.

"Get in KB," Leo said pushing the door open. I smiled and hopped in. Boy, am I glad that today is a PA Day.

"Thank you Leo," I said as he started the car up.

"No problem," Leo said turning around. "So, why do you need to go to Ricky's?" I sighed.

"It's were I go to think, and get a milkshake," I said. Leo nodded.

"I get that. I go to England to think," He said. I laughed.

"Speaking of England, do you know anything about the contest?" I asked. Leo smiled and rolled his eyes.

"You are in the top three people," Leo said. I was about to ask another question when he pulled up to Ricky's. "You're here."

"Thanks Leo," I said. He nodded as I got out.

"You need a ride back to your house?" He asked. I shook my head no. "Here, take 5 bucks, get some fries with your milkshake." I told his money and shut the car door. He drove away. I took a deep breath and walked in the diner. I grabbed an empty coffee mug off of one of the tables and walked up to the counter.

"Please Luke, please, please, please," I said holding the cup up. Ian turned around. I smiled at him and he smiled back at me.

"How many cups have you had this morning?" Ian asked with a smile. I tried to hold back my laughter.

"None."

"Plus?" Ian asked walking around the counter.

"Five," I said walking up to him. "But your is better." Ian opened his mouth to say something but then I kissed him. After a minute I pulled away.

"What was that for?" He asked. I smiled.

"I wanted the moment we got together to be cute," I said bitting my lip. It took him a minute to realize what I said.

"Wait, you - we're together?" Ian asked. I smiled and nodded. "Really?" I laughed and gave him a hug. Anthony came out from the back room.

"Okay Ian, we're done our shift!" He said before he saw me hugging him. "What's going on here?"

"Just a girl, giving her boyfriend a hug," I said smiling at Ian. He smiled back at me.

"You guys are dating?" Anthony asked. We nodded. "That's great." I could see the sadness in his eyes. Ian let go of me. I forgot that him and Olivia broke up on Monday.

"Well, see you later Ant!" Ian said before leaving, well holding my hand. Wes might have been my first boyfriend, but Ian was and is my first love.
