I didn't ever accept Travis' date request, in a way it was mean of me but my mind wasn't in that place, so I didn't expect my heart to be. Carter hadn't left my mind since the night in the car and Travis had left with Julie, who knows what they probably did. I put nothing past her, and even though it was kind of my fault they left together, I wish I had gone with Travis instead, I could've avoided illiana and Carter smashing in my door, all in one night. I sighed, pushing my hair behind my ear as I walked over to illiana on my bed.
"You better have a good reason to be here." I said slightly annoyed, even though I didn't fully trust Illiana ever since I saw that picture in Carter's room, I wasn't about to give up now on finding out their history together. Illiana had a black hoodie on, with everything tucked away, I wouldn't have noticed it was her if I didn't hear her voice. She beamed, and removed her hood. I gasped.
"Damn right, I do!" she exclaimed, her red hair laid on her shoulders. "We are going out."
"What?" I asked, confused.
"Let's go find Julie! I saw her making out with some guy at her place and they took their car keys and left. And guess who knows where they're heading?" she continued.
"You sound like a jealous ex." I frowned, shaking my head at her brightly colored hair. I swear she was mad. "Stalking your ex boyfriend's new girlfriend so you can find evidence to get her in trouble."
"What? He's not my boyfriend!" she shuddered, squinting at me "and im trying to see what Julie's doing behind Carter's back, that's all." she hinted, standing up and grabbing her car keys.

We drove until we hit a lake, the same lake Carter had taken me too. Only Julie was the one driving the car. Iliiana had parked close enough so we could walk the distance and not get caught, but I was somewhat nervous to see who she had brought to the lake. What if it was Travis? How would I feel?
"What are you thinking about?" Iliiana asked as she ducked behind a tree that looked towards the crystal clear lake.
"Nothing." I replied, squinting down at Julie as she took off her top similarly to what happened between Carter and I, but I knew her intentions were no good. I was relieved when an unfamiliar face popped out of the car.
"Guess what?" illiana joked around loudly.
"shhhh!" i hushed her, ducking lowly into the grass.
"The funniest thing is, she doesn't even know him. She asked his name and everything at the house. Watch what she's going to do." Illiana whispered deadly quiet. We both continued to peer out at the odd scene. They kissed for a while, Julie toying with the young boy that had so sadly hung on her every word. Julie dove in the lake, laughing excitedly as she told him to join in. He obliged, tickling and giggling with her as they swam. She seemed to pause for a moment to say something to low for us to hear, she swam to the grass and hopped out. Walking over to her car, inside she shuffled around for what seemed too quick to be necessary.
"What'd she get?' I asked curiously. Leaning in to hopefully see better. Julie jumped back into the water, laughing with an evil grin.
"What's she doing?" I asked Illiana, but she only sighed.
"Watch." she instructed again.
Julie jumped on the poor guy, bringing out a syringe of some sort, stabbing him in the neck. He flopped around before going ridgid, his terrifying gurgles instantly was a consuming sound of water entering his lungs.He couldn't move, somehow he was paralyzed and so was I, watching what unfolded in front of my eyes.
"Third victim" Iliiana said cooly, shaking her head.
"Illiana!" I hollered, shooting up, Julie must've heard the noise, because she dunked under the water, taking the guy down with her. I rushed towards the lake.
"He's dead already!" IllIiana caught up to me, grabbing my arm, we have to get out of here. She can't know I saw her, you either!"
"That boy is going to die!" I panicked loudly.
"He's already dead!" she stated, so it could register in my head.
"How would you know?" I shook her off, taking off my shoes.
"Because they tried to kill me too!" she cried out, throwing her hands up.
"They?" I asked, looking towards the water.
"Carter and Julie!" Iliiana answered my question, grabbing my hand as bubbles began to surface against the water, Julie was going to come up for air, and I was going to be standing there.
