After a whole night of restless sleep due to her nightmares, Lyla finally slipped into a peaceful, exhausted sleep. However, shortly after, Lyla awoke the next morning to a small Lost Boy, around 9, poking her face. He had sandy blonde hair and bright, baby blue eyes. He was adorable really. When she opened her eyes and turned to him, he gasped in surprise.

"Are you an Angel?" The little boy asked her in awe.

Lyla laughed at him, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. She looked at the blonde who was now leaning on the side of the bed staring up at her.

"That's nice sweetheart, but I'm not an Angel," Lyla told him kindly.

Lyla threw off her covers and got out of bed. She walked to her closet to start picking out an outfit.

"Are you sure you're not an Angel? You look like an Angel. And I even heard Pan call you an Angel and Pan knows everything!"
The little boy insisted.

"Oh well if Pan says so then it must be true!" Lyla said sweetly and poked the blonde boy in the stomach. He giggled adorably. "What's your name?" Lyla questioned.

"My name's Leo," Leo bounced excitedly at her inquiry. "Oh I forgot to tell you! Pan wants you to come down for breakfast and then we're going play a game!"

Leo left in a hurry after that, remembering he hadn't eaten breakfast. Lyla sighed. She really did not want to play another one of Pan's games. She threw on a similar outfit as her first day. This time dark grey leggings and a dark green t-shirt. She put her hair in a French braid and looked in the mirror. Lyla gasped at what she saw.

She had a huge purple bruise in the shape of her hand all around her thin neck. She held a hand up to touch and hissed in pain. Her arms were also covered in them too. With a shaking hand, the Lost Girl lifted up her shirt to reveal her stomach, which had taken the brunt of the beating. It looked horrible. She couldn't even tell what her skin color was because everything was black and blue. Lyla quickly changed into a black long sleeve, not wanting to show anymore reminders of her 'battle' yesterday. It was actually more of a beating than a battle...

The Lost Girl quickly exited her treehouse and walked to camp. Aaron saw her as she entered and jogged over to greet her and led her to get some breakfast.

"Hey, that's a pretty nasty bruise you got there," said Aaron, grimacing as he gestured to her bruised neck. They sat down at the table and he grabbed two plates of food for them.

"I know, really goes with my complexion though right? Give Pan my thanks," Lyla replied.

Aaron paused in the devouring of his breakfast to give her a weak smile. He replied, "Yeah, I'm sorry about that fight two days ago. Pan's unpredictable and volatile, but usually he's provoked before doing something like that. He must've been in a really sour mood."

Lyla let the conversation drop as she ate her eggs. She didn't want to talk about what happened on her first day. The pair ate the rest of their meal in silence until they heard Pan.

"Alright boys! I wasn't able to be here much on our new Lost Girl's first day, so we're going to do the induction trail now! Then, if she succeeds, we'll have a bonfire!" Pan yelled.

Aaron and Lyla were now on their feet in the crowd of Lost Boys surrounding Peter Pan. Once Pan finished his short announcement, the crowd dispersed. Lyla turned to Aaron in worry.

"What did he mean by induction trial?" Lyla asked, concern creeping into her voice. Aaron opened his mouth to answer, but was interrupted.

Pan, hearing the girl, teleported over to her and Aaron. She yelped a little at his sudden appearance, which made the demon smirk a little. He slung his arm around the Lost Girl's shoulders and pulled her close. Lyla was clearly uncomfortable and tried pushing him away, but Pan seemed unaffected.
