I Don't, Say No To This\\ Marliza

Chapter 8

:Eliza's POV:
Eliza woke up first. She panicked for a second, forgetting where she was, before she looked beside her and saw Maria. She realized where she was. She also remembered the events that had lead her to stay at Maria's house for the night and blushed at the thought.

At first Eliza fought the urge to simply sneak out. She didn't want to have to face Maria when she woke up. 'What if Maria thought I took it to fast..?' Eliza asked herself, they had only became a couple yesterday. Though she quickly dismissing the thought.

First of all, Maria was the one who had asked her to stay. Second, Eliza had been sure not to force Maria into anything.

She decided on staying, at least until Maria woke up.

Eliza got up, she didn't have any clothes on, so for convenience, she 'borrowed' some from Maria's. She put on an old grey sweatshirt and some short black shorts.

She wanted to do something nice for her new girlfriend, and wandered into the kitchen. Eliza wanted to surprise Maria with breakfast in bed, but unfortunately didn't know what Maria liked.

She decided to go the safe route and made some fluffy buttermilk pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, and of course, bacon. This meal took her about fifty minutes to prepare but she would be lying if she said she wasn't proud of herself.

Quickly, Eliza poured some orange juice, and arranged all the food fancy on a plate while she brewed coffee.

Eliza didn't know anyone who like black coffee, so she did half and half.

After arranging everything, and a few minutes figuring out how to carry a plate full of food, silverware for said food, a cup of orange juice, and a hot cup of coffee.

She walked up to Maria's door, and quietly walked in.

:Maria's POV:
Maria hadn't been sleeping for very long when she was woken up, at least it didn't feel like it.

She flinched slightly when Eliza showered her face with soft kisses to wake her up due to past experiences with her ex.

She smirked to herself before looking at Eliza, her sleepy brain finally reminding her of last night.

She met Eliza's lips, "good morning."

"M- morning," Eliza blushed, and shuffled a bit on the bed, turning to get something off the nightstand on her side of the bed. "I- I wanted to surprise y- you..." Eliza said sheepishly, showing Maria a plate of a delicious looking breakfast.

Maria happily except the meal, "thanks baby~"

She grabbed her fork and knife and cut a piece of pancake, Eliza eagerly watched for what Maria thought of it.

Now, Maria had no intention of being rude. However, she had prepared her best fake, 'wow it's really good, I love it!' face.

Much to her relief, Maria didn't have to fake it, it turns out Eliza was a great cook. She had shoveled in about half the pancake stack into her mouth before pausing, realizing there was other food.

Eliza chuckled lightly at her, "you look like a chipmunk!" Eliza told her, "and, I'm glad you like it, but you might be able to enjoy it more if you actually eat it instead of inhaling the pancakes!"

Maria decided to take Eliza's advice, and cut s bite sized piece of pancake, and fead it to Eliza, "but they're so good~"

Eliza blushed and laughed a bit, Maria shared the rest of her meal with Eliza. Though Maria probably had more.
