I never knew Wataru was already that keen to marry Saki. That brat even did not bother to invite us in his engagement. Well he says the ring was just a gift for being by his side through the hard times. But Saki's expression does not say so. Isumi noticed that our childhood friend was blushing that time. Poor Isumi, she hardly realized when Wataru was mad for her.

Anyway, now i have a great topic to laugh at, and tease Wataru. But I have to say that the boy has guts though. I heard he asked grandpa's approval before, as he wanted Wataru to marry Nagi before. Makoto-san was invited that day but she did not come. As long as it's Makoto-san, I can't say it to be weird. But she sent a videotape. There she says that she is proud of her son.

Wataru told us he did not care but Saki saw tears in his eyes when he watched it. It's unlikely for him to be moved by this.

But he deserves it no doubt. His shop has been quite renowned in the locality. He is progressing really well. Wataru has observed that his business has been even better since Hayate repaid the loan of his dad. Maybe Hayate's bad luck affected his shop before.

These days Wataru says Nagi to be his trump card in the future. Given the current quality of Nagi's manga, if he can be the one to sell those first he can gain some advantages. I don't understand manga but Wataru is pleased by Nagi's work nowadays. That boy has some taste in these stuff and always points out her fault. So if he praises her, it ought to have some truth.

That girl is doing great in the household chores these days. Isumi recently declared that her perfection is nearly the same as Isumi's now. By having the most tasty food from her very birth, she has a distinct sense of taste grown inside her. It helps her when she adds ingredients in the food. Though she is way behind compared to Maria-san. I heard Nagi's part time job is going better also.

Makita-Kunieda often remind me that I also have to learn these things too, now that most of my childhood friends have mastered those. But I don't think I have to hurry so much. Moreover, I must start the preparations for Nagi's birthday now. This time she is going to celebrate with all of her friends, and there are just two weeks left till that. It must be the most memorable one she can ever have.
