After about a month, I hadn't seen August, and I've been missing him. By now, I had more than enough money for college tuition, but I had to wait til next semester to go. Anyways, I completely regretted breaking up with August, so I called him.
After the umpteenth ring, he answered well at least I thought he answered, "Hello, who is this?" Some chick answered.
I remained calm. "I believe this is August's phone, so can I talk to him?"
A few seconds later, August said. "Wassup ma." His voice was soothing.
I smiled. "Hey Aug. I miss you."
I heard him scoff.
I sighed. "Look, I'm sorry, but I regret it. I ended our relationship over something petty and Im sorry."
He chuckled. "Save the sorries ma. I'm seeing someone."
I became uneasy. "Wow, you moved on quick."
"I wasn't playing when I said don't come back if you leave. You chose that shit not me. I'm not gon' sit here and chase you. I had to move on at some point."
"Well, can I atleast make it up to you?" I suggested.
"How?" He asked with curiosity.
"Come to my house at 6. "
"Aight ma. I'll be there."

I prepared for my evening with August as soon as I hung up.
I pulled out the best dress I could find which was a tight black strapless dress and some red bottoms to match. I trimmed then curled my hair and showered.
After this, I put on my makeup which was really just eyeliner, mascara and lipstick. I cooked rice and beans with chicken and collard greens and set the table. I pulled on my dress and shoes and took one last look at myself as the bell rang. I walked to the door, and there stood August in all black matching me. I smiled at him and he licked his lips.
"Damn."
I moved out the way, so he could come in. "The food's already done, so come on."
I said as I walked to the dinning room. August sat across from me and immediately started eating.
I got right to business. "August, I don't really give a fuck who your new bitch is to be honest. I miss you and I'm sorry for fucking up what we had over some little shit in the newspaper. I wanna be with you. I was being selfish and I'm sorry about that. I just want us again."
He put his fork down. "You got something to drink?"
I frowned. "Just forget it." I said getting up and walking to the kitchen.
As I poured his damn soda, I felt arms wrap around my waist and I smiled.
He picked me up and sat me on the counter. "You're forgiven ma." I smiled and he kissed me. I instantly kissed back.
"If I say, I want you then that's I want ma." I smiled and nodded.
He started kissing my neck, so I quickly slipped off my dress and August bit his lip. "Goddamn."
I smiled and he got to work.

After we finished you know, I laid on his chest until the doorbell rang. I sighed and put on some underwear and an oversized tee shirt and walked to the door.
It was D and Tori and they pushed me aside walking into my home as I opened the door.
"Girl, time to get some new tracks cause a bitch going out tonight!" D said as he sat down.
"What you talking bout?" I asked.
"We set you up on a blind date." Tori explained.
"Yes honey, we had to. We know yo coochie prolly got cobwebs. " D said.
Before I could say anything, August came out in his boxers. "Nah, her shit straight. no cobwebs or nothing." He said smirking.
D started fanning himself. "Ooo lawd jesus. This is God's work right here. That body jesus christ!"
I laughed. "You're a perv D."
D just shrugged. Tori got up. "So I'm gonna go."
D looked at her. "Yeah she's gonna go."
Tori rolled her eyes. "D if you don't bring yo ugly ass on."
She pulled him out the door. I locked the door then turned around to see August laughing.
"They're stupid."
I nodded. "I know." August walked toward me. "What?" He kissed my forehead. "I gotta go ma." I looked up at him. "Why?"
"I got a girl at home ma."
I looked at him and slapped him. "So what the fuck was I? A fuck and duck? Smash and dash? You gonna leave me for some bitch? Fuck you then."
He chuckled. "Ma chill. And you already did."
I rolled my eyes and walked to my room.
He followed me to get his clothes.
I got into the shower, then laid down watching tv until I got a call.
"Hello." I answered.
"Hello, Is this Skylar Williams?"
"Yes. Who is this?"
"Hello, this is Officer Roberts of the Fulton County Police Department. We need you to come down to the station immediately."
"Ok, I'm on my way."
