I woke up next to August and my body was aching. I got up and my legs were numb. I went to the bathroom and showered for about 20 minutes then came out and put on some shorts and a tee shirt. I wet my hair so it was curly then walked out the bathroom to see August was awake.

He smiled at me. "Good morning ma." I returned his smile. "Good morning."

I didn't expect him to stay with me seeing as he has a baby mama waiting for him.

I looked at the time seeing that it was 11am. "Don't you gotta go?"

"Damn, tryna kick a nigga out already."

"Nah, I just didn't expect you to say since I know how important your baby mama is to you."

"Nah, I do what I want and right now I wanna know wassup with you."

I sat down next to him. "First you need to take a shower and brush them teeth."

He chuckled. "Damn, break a nigga heart or whateva." I laughed. "Im just saying." He got up and walked to the bathroom to shower and what not while I walked to kitchen and made some bacon and eggs with toast. By the time I was done, August was in the kitchen with me. I handed him a plate and sat down.

"Why'd you call me last night?" August asked as we were eating.

"I was going through some shit."

"Like?"

"Julius got full custody of Cassidy then I found out he's been abusing her. So CPS took her and it's just frustrating. Everything's just stressing me out. First, my mom dying then the shit with you. Then they take my daughter from me and I find out she's abused for the two little days she's been with the nigga. I can't, so I beat Julius' ass and I took the rest of my frustration out on you.. sexually."

He smiled. "I'm a stress reliever?"

"Nah, I need a stress reliever though. I know you got some loud."

He chuckled. "You ain't ready for that ma."

"Yes I am."

"Maybe another day."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."

"Ma, what are we doing?" August asked me after a long pause.

"I don't even know. One minute I'm tryna hate you and the next, I'm running back."

"Same. But I got a baby on the way. I'm tryna be there for Rae. But I'm in love with you." I'm guessing Rae is his baby mama name.

"I don't think we need a relationship together again. We tried twice and look where we ended. Just stay in your relationship and We'll stick to friends for now." He nodded. "Ion know if I can do that but I'll try."

I smiled. "I'm fine with that."

"Aye come here." I walked to him and I stood in between his legs as he held my waist. "What?" "I just want you to know that no matter who I'm with or what I say, you got my heart aight ma?" I gave him a 'you lying' look and he chuckled. "I'm serious ma. I'm sorry for putting my hands on you. That shit will never happen again believe dat."

I nodded. "I know it won't or you'll end up like Julius, beaten with a bat and nun chucks until your skull is fractured."

He looked scared. "Damn ma, you did that much damage?" I nodded. "It had to be done. He should've known he wasn't gonna put his hands on my daughter."

He laughed then stood up. "Aye, I gotta go ma. Rae prolly blowing up my phone."

I nodded and walked him to the front door. Before he left, he turned around and kissed me while squeezing my ass which was still sore from last night.
