The next day, August called to tell me that he would be starting his tour with 2 chainz tomorrow which was short notice but we're going out today.

I woke up in pain though. I got up and drove Cassidy to school then put on sweatpants, a white Tee and my nikes. I grabbed my keys and went to the funeral home to set up my mama's funeral arrangement. i really don't feel well.
After I got out the funeral home, I went to the doctor and told August to meet me there.
I got there first but as soon as the doctor called me, August walked in.
We followed the doctor and I sat down.
"Hello ms. Williams. What brings you here today?" My doctor asked me.
"I'm in pain and I've been throwing up and I've been dizzy alot."
"Ok," He looked at his clipboard, "Have you been having weird cravings?"
I nodded remembering me craving crackers dipped in applesauce.
"What about migraines? weight gain? swelling of any body parts?"
I nodded, "Yes, all of those."
He stood up, "Well from the looks of things, you may be pregnant but to be 100% sure, we'll give you a pregnancy test."
I sighed and looked at August who looked regular.
I followed the doctor as he handed me a cup. I peed in the tub thing and gave it back to him returning to the room where August was still seated.
After about 20 minutes, the doctor came back.
"Well, Ms.Williams. You are pregnant. About 2 and a half months to be exact. Congratulations."
I shook his hand. "Thank you."
I walked out to August's car and sat in the passenger's side. He hadn't said anything to me yet.
I looked at him. "I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what ma? You aint do shit."
"That's the problem. I should've been on birth control or something."
"Look ma, i'm fine with being a father. I want this baby."
"You don't need two babies August. I don't need anymore. "
"Ma, don't tell me what I do and don't need. We're having this baby. I got you so dont even worry."
I nodded and sighed.
That night, August took me out to dinner, but I honestly didn't feel right. All I could think about was this baby I'm carrying.
After August was gone for 2 weeks, I already decided what I was gonna do. I called D and Tori for support and d met me at the abortion clinic while Tori watched Cassidy. I got nervous but I'm doing this for us.
The wait wasnt long, but they knocked me out and the abortion was done in no time.
I got up and I had horrible stomach pains and vaginal pains.
I don't know what I'm gonna tell August.

The next day, I just went to work and I saw that Tristan guy there again.
"Hey. "
I took off my starbucks apron while wincing.
"Hello beautiful. You hungry?"
"Yeah. How about lunch? I could use some company." I told him putting on my coat.
We ate at a restaurant and we talked. He was actually alot of fun. He seemed like good company while August was gone. I learned that he was a lawyer. I finally gave him my number then headed to pick Cassidy up from afterschool.
After I got Cassidy, I decided to go see mama Alsina or ms. Sheila. I went over to her house and she smiled when she saw me.
Cassidy ran upstairs to play with Kay Kay, Maiya and Chay.
Sheila and I sat in the living room.
"So, you were right, i am- was pregnant."
"Whatchuu mean was?"
"August already has a baby on the way and I didnt wanna add to his troubles so I got an abortion."
She frowned at me, "Girl, August gonna kill you. Did you tell him?"
"No."
"You better tell him."
I nodded. "Can you keep Cassidy for the night? I need to call August and I need some rest."
She nodded and hugged me. "Sure, Let me know what happens."
I walked upstairs and kisses Cassidy goodbye then headed home.
I called August.
When he answered, I smiled.
"Hey baby."
"Wassup ma?" He asked.
"Nothing, just got home. Doing my mama's funeral arrangements. "
"Ohhh you aight?"
"Yeah, I miss you."
"I miss you too ma. How you and my junior feeling?"
I sighed. Here he go with this bullshit. "I'm fine. "
"I cant wait for my son to get here ma."
I frowned and regretted the abortion. He seemed so excited about this baby that I killed.
"Yeah, but my mama's funeral is in two days."
"I wish I could be there for you ma."
"I know. I wish you could too. This is gonna be my first time seeing my family in a while."
"You got it ma."
"I hope so."
"But look, I gotta go perform. I love you."
I was taken aback. We had never said we love eachother. this just added more to my regret.
"I love you too. Bye." I hung up and sighed.
