"I never thought I would find any sort of love on the Rebellion. You know, this cause...this fight. It makes you hard.", he recollected.
And I listened. I was the only one he could confide in with these things, other than K2, but he was a droid, with no emotion response.
"And I never thought I would get out of that prison but...here I am. With you. I thank the Force everyday that I got to see my father one last time and that I survived Scarif because now...now I can continue this fight...for my father...for-for the whole galaxy.", I said.
We lay in bed. The sheets barely covering our bare bodies as our skin presses and rubs against each other.
"We are so lucky, yet so unlucky. To-to have each other, yet...yet, to be in-in this situation where...where we have to risk everything...", I begin but am unable to continue as soft tears roll of my face into the pillow.
Cassian rolled over and wrapped his arms around my waist. His head was laid on my bare chest. His gentle energy calming me.
"I know.", he said.
That simple statement was enough for me. To know that I am not alone in these feelings of helplessness.
"We should talk about something else.", I say. I've had enough of this depression conversation. This is our first time of intimacy for a while now. We should cherish it because we never know if it could be our last.
"Like what, Stardust?"
"How about...our wedding?", I say with a little smirk.
He brought his head up and rested his chin on my chest, looking at my with a new brightness in his eyes.
"Well, I was thinking we could have a ceremony by the memorial plaque...if you like that idea.", he said.
"Oh my Force! That's a great idea", I whisper-scream.
"Really? Good, I thought you'd like it.", he smiled, kissing my collar bone, "I'm sure you already know we have a very limited budget."
"Of course. I want something small anyway. Just friends. Some drinks. A simple dress.", I whisper.
He smiles softly and kisses me, wrapping his arms tighter around my waist as he again lays his head on my chest once again.

I walk down the hall on my way to the training room.I have to maintain my athleticism, something essential to Rebel fighters.
There is a dim hallway on the way to the training room because no one has bothered to fix the lights. It sort of scares me a little, especially since I like to go to the training room when the nightmares don't let me sleep, which is very late at night.
As I walk down the dark hall, I get a sense that someone is following me.
Stop it, Jyn, you're being ridiculous.
I can hear metal hit the floor and start walking a little faster.
I don't dare turn around as it will alter the stalker that I know they are following me.
Why are you so stupid? My Force, you are so delusional.
"Jyn.", they begin.
I let out a high pitches yelp and jump, turning around with a ready stance to fight back.
I am relieved to see that it is only Luke. Luke Skywalker at that.
I have made good friends with him since we both go to the training room around this time at night. He is very hospitable and has been through a lot. One thing we have a mutual understanding of is fighting for a cause even after losing so much. He also has quite the quirky character, a little nerd.
"Gosh, you scared me! I just wanted to let you know that the training room is closed.", he said with wide eyes.
"You scared me!", I laugh, "Well, thanks for letting me know."
Late at night, emotions emerge the same as when you are drunk. Spewing out with no barrier due to sleep deprivation. That is the reason we have discussed my dream with Darth Vader, his father.
There is just one thing I have been curious of but have always been afraid to ask him because I know he is wise beyond his years and would definitely have the answer I am looking for.
But I can't hold it in any longer.
He begins to walk away as I say, "Um, Luke..."
"Yes?", he replies, turning back around to face me.
"I have a question to ask you. A serious question.", I hesitate.
"Ask.", he says, with a now serious face.
"You know how your father's dream about his wife needed up becoming true?", I begin, as he nods, "Well, do you think my nightmare is even a possibility?"
He shares at me with his intense, light eyes.
"Jyn, you of all people know that anything is possible. You have experienced more incredulous things than some people experience in a lifetime.", he says and starts to walk away, only to stop," Through, of course, you know my father is dead and so that dream of your's cannot come literally but, read into it. Perhaps in a figurative sense, you are being warned of the dark side as a direct threat to you. Be careful, Jyn. The Dark Side can seduce the most pure of people. You must be strong. Well, you are already strong."
"Thank you.", I say as he walks away.
It is odd how he can change from a socially awkward teenager to a wise Jedi in a matter of seconds. It is very special.
His warning replays in my head as I walk back to my room to try to get sleep. Even if only a couple of hours.
The halls are empty and silence fills the emptiness.
As I walk, I hear more footsteps against metal floors and give little smirk, not turning around.
Luke is doing it on purpose this time.
You think you can fool me, you little nerf-herder.
Just as I get to my room, I swiftly turn around to scare Luke.
"Got you!", I say but am surprised to see that it isn't Luke at all.
"No, I got you.", he whispers and presses a cloth to my mouth.
He grabs both of my arms and holds them behind me with his large hands, making me unable to take him down.
Who is this? How did they get in here?
I jump and do my best to yell so the guards on night duty might hear me. Sadly, the cloth is thick and my voice only bounces back into my mouth.
I am desperate to get out of this man's hold as I feel myself getting weaker and weaker by the second.
I continue kicking and screaming until I begin to feel faint, my legs going numb, and my voice fading.
Slowly, the interior of the Rebel base is replaced with darkness.

Author's Note:Well, well, what is going to become of Jynie-poo?
Luke is such a wise little space bean.
Also, isn't that picture of Felicity and Diego just adorable??? I ship them so hard.
I'm sorry I couldn't update yesterday, I had a lot of homework and I'm warning you now, that might happen a couple more times until summer starts in about two weeks.
May the Force be with you guys.
