Scenario number forty

Special characters: George, Alexa, Evan, Mr. Wells, Mrs. Wells, Zander, Mr. Howells, Mrs. Wells, Daniella, Alfred.

"Georgie, you're awake." Alexa cries with happiness.

George smiles, "Ah...lex....sah...."

"Oh my god, hearing you say my name is making me so happy." Alexa laughs, tears falling down from her eyes. "George, please don't leave me.... don't leave our son.... please.... I love you... George...."

"I... will... never... leave you."

George's words hit Alexa's heart, "George!!!" She pants, excitedly. "You're.... you really are  hero, you know that? You always try to make me smile....."

"I... love you." George tells her.

"I know." Alexa sniffs, "and I read your letter... on your diary..."

"It's a journal." George grunts.

Alexa laughs, "you want us to get married?"

"I want... you by my... side... forever... because... l love you......"

"Stop saying those words," Alexa giggles.

"What... kind of... wedding.. do you want?" George asks her.

The question somewhat surprises Alexa, "it's too early to decide."

"I don't care...." George returns.

Alexa sighs, "it's your decision, Georgie."

"Beach wedding." George utters.

"No!"

"I thought... you said... it's my decision..?"

"Civil." Alexa says, "I'm not ready for a real wedding yet... let's just have a civil wedding a month after we finish college and find a job."

George slowly nods. "S-sure.. it's all up to you... Lex."

"Your father is awake now, Evan." Mr. Wells plays with Evan's hair, "your mother is now talking to him."

Mrs. Wells appears out of nowhere, "they're talking about marriage!"

"Marriage?" Evan repeats.

"They're gonna have a civil wedding!" Mrs. Wells proudly exclaims, dancing weirdly.

"That's great!" Mr. Wells claps.

Mrs. Wells snickers, "that means Evan can finally have a sibling..."

"Brother!" Evan grins.

Mrs. Wells laughs. "You don't want a sister, Evan?"

"Ehhh..." is Evan's reply.

Mr. Wells sighs. "Don't pressure the kid, hon. I'm really happy for them."

"So am I." Mrs. Wells smiles.

"How's George?" An elderly couple enters the conversation along with a teenage boy.

"Derek! Alliana! They're going to get married and have more babies!" Mrs. Wells hollers.

Mr. Wells rolls his eyes, what's with mothers lately? Why do they seem so excited about their children having children?

Mr. Howells sniffs. "My little girl is going to get married..."

"Cheer up, Dad." Zander laughs, he sees Evan and high fives him, "hey, little dude, how you doing?"

Evan smiles, showing his teeth. "Mom and Dad will get married!"

"After they finish college and get a job, of course." Mr. Wells adds, strictly.

Mrs. Howells clasps her hands, "they can finally have more children!"

"I know! Evan can finally have another brother or sister." Mrs. Wells giggles.

Evan frowns, "how many?"

"As many as they want." Mrs. Howells winks at Evan.

"Marriage and you're already excited about Alexa being pregnant again?" Mr. Howells sighs.

Mr. Wells laughs.

"Is big brother okay?" George's younger sister, Daniella, asks with a look of concern.

"He's awake, and he's talking to Alexa--" Mr. Wells begins.

"THEY'RE GOING TO GET MARRIED!" Mrs. Wells interrupts him, "Evan's going to have another sibling!"

Daniella gasps, "really!?"

Alfred, George's older brother, rolls his eyes. "Alexa isn't even pregnant yet!" Alfred frowns, "you seriously can't be expecting another grandchild so soon—"

"They're going to have nine more kids!" Mrs. Howells clasps her hands, "names would be—"

"You want them to have ten children!?" Zander coughs.

Mrs. Howells giggles, "that'd be nice, right?"

"What about just six kids?" Mrs. Wells suggests.

"For fuck's sake, stop talking about kids!" Mr. Wells scolds the two.

"No bad words!" Daniella scolds her dad.

Mr. Wells prevents himself from rolling his eyes. "Sorry, Dani."

Alexa comes out of the room and notices that everyone is staring at her expectantly.

"Sooo...?" Mr. Howells' eyes widen.

Alexa clears her throat. "Yeah?"

"When are you going to have another kid, Alexa?" Mrs. Wells questions her.

Mr. Wells frowns. "Oh my..."
