I'm starting to think that the only enemy I have, is myself.
"Charlie, you have a gun in your hand. Who else would it have been?" Delilah whispered.
Charlie shrugged, then began to step over broken shelves and glass.
Newt grabbed her wrist, pulling her back. "Where in bloody hell do you think you're going?" he asked.
Charlie looked at Newt's hand, which was still on her wrist. "Checking out what the hell that was." she slid out of his grip, and started going again. Newt ran to catch up with her, leaving the rest standing in the middle of the store.
"I'm not letting you go alone."
Charlie didn't look at him, she just kept walking, her pistol ready to fire. "And why would you do that? You think just because I'm a girl, that I won't be safe on my own?" she laughed.
"Well, no. I just thought you might need someone, with some.. Muscle."
Charlie stopped in her tracks, Newt bumping into her. She looked him dead in the eye, "Muscle?"
Newt narrowed his eyebrows, and tilted his head. "Uh,yeah. That's what I said."
"Look," Charlie shoved her gun into it's pocket, and stared Newt down. "You haven't got any idea of what this place is like. You don't know what I've been through. Heck, you don't bloody know me." she said sternly. "Not now, at least." she muttered. "Sorry. I just have had a lot built up-"
Newt covered Charlie's mouth with his hand, and quickly pulled her behind a shelf. Someone was moving around the store, and it wasn't Newt's friends.
Charlie's heart started to beat faster and faster. Newt had her up against his chest, still trying to hide from whoever had come in.

After Newt and Charlie ran off, Delilah, Thomas, and his friends stood, waiting for something to happen.
"You know, when I first looked at you, I felt something familiar. Like I know you." Thomas paused, "Were we close?"
Delilah looked up at him, slightly surprised, "I thought you said you couldn't remember anything."
"I'm starting to remember little things, like I'm watching a slideshow of my life, but it goes so fast I can only see a few." Thomas stopped, shaking his head, "I just want to know they aren't planting fake memories in my head."
Delilah stayed silent for a moment, "Whoa, that got deep fast!" Delilah said light-heartedly, trying to lighten the mood. "But if you have to know we were pretty close, we used to... wait, we're supposed to start over, remember."
"Sorry, I just thought.." Thomas started as Delilah cut him off,
"Starting over, OK. I just don't want to think about Wicked and well, what they did to us."
"What did they do to you!" Thomas demanded.
"Same thing they did to you. And I don't want to talk about it." Delilah said, turning away.
There was a loud crash, and Delilah heard a scream, sounding similar to Charlie.
Delilah and Thomas looked at one another, wide eyed. The group that had come with Thomas had run off, leaving Thomas and Delilah alone.
"Charlie." Delilah whispered.
The two sprinted off, trying to find out what had happened.
