AN: Just so you know, this chapter is a flashback - enjoy :)
"Stop taking so many pictures!" Newt yelled as he grabbed the polaroid camera from Charlie's hands.
"Hey!" she reached for it, but Newt hid it behind his back.
"No, we need to study."
Charlie sighed, and Newt set the camera down. "Fine. But I already know this stuff. You're the one studying."
"True true." Newt picked up a book, and flipped through the pages. "Why can't you just tell me everything and we can be done."
"Correction, you can be done. I'm not doing anything." Charlie pronounced.
Newt rolled his eyes. "Whatever." he continued to read through the book while Charlie sat, twiddling with her thumbs.
After a few minutes, someone knocked on the door of the room the two were staying in. Charlie and Newt looked at each other, then to the door.
"Come on in!" Newt yelled as he closed the book and put it away.
A man wearing dark pants and a light blue button up shirt came inside, holding a clipboard. "Charlie." he looked up at her, and gave her a look. "You need to go to the board room. Ava Paige needs you."
Charlie narrowed her eyes, then stood up. Newt looked up at her and frowned.
"I'll see you at lunch." she whispered before falling the man out of the room.

"You wanted to.. See me?" Charlie asked as she walked into a room full of holographic screens.
A woman dressed in a white dress, stood up from a pure white chair and walked over to Charlie. She put her hands on Charlie's shoulders and shook her head. "I hope you know that the boy will be leaving in less than 6 months, Charlie."
Charlie nodded, dropping her head.
"He won't remember you, only things he had been taught." she took her hands off of Charlie, then led her to a chair. "Sit."
Charlie did as she was told, and sat down in a white chair, near a long table. "Ms. Paige, at least I'm spending time with him. No one else would."
"Yes, I know that. But your job is to teach him, not fall in love." a screen in front of Charlie turned on, showing a large, open area filled with trees. "This is where he will be sent. It is still under construction, but I can show you one that is in full process of the trials."
The screen faded, then came back with a slightly different background. It switched around, showing different places that had been filled with a group of girls, working hard on building and more.
"I know what the places look like." Charlie muttered.
"Yes, because you helped plan them out. I just wanted to show you what they really look like, now that they have been made." Ava Paige walked over to Charlie. "Now, go out to lunch. And make sure you don't do anything stupid."
Charlie gulped, got up, and left the room, not looking back at Ava Paige.

"Thomas, focus!" Delilah yelled to a group of boys. "Everyone else is doing their work except you."
"I'm sorry! I just-"
"Do your work! I'm not sending another one of you boys to Charlie. She's got enough to handle with that British boy."
Thomas looked down at the floor, then pulled out a paper and pen. He started to look at the projected screen, then, copied down all of the notes.
Delilah smiled, it made her happy to know that she could get through to the boys she was teaching, especially Thomas, the cute boy who never seemed to pay attention. She tried to push down her feelings for him while she was working. When she was alone, she tried talking herself out of it, "He would never love me back." she would tell herself, shaking her head.
Thomas was slightly upset that Delilah kept calling him out. It wasn't his fault he just couldn't concentrate. It wasn't his fault that he was slowly falling in love. He tried one more time to focus. "There's no point," he said to himself, "she will never love me back."
