I wake up to the sound of the shower running in the bathroom across the hall. I sit up and and I slip out of bed. The cold air hits my legs and arms, creating goosebumps.
I walk out of the room and into the kitchen, grabbing a cup and filling it with coffee. I am startled by a deep husky voice from behind me.
"I didn't know that you drink coffee?" Joshua says with a smirk.
"Oh I do, now you know!" I say smiling while walking out of the kitchen.
"Get dressed" He calls out.
Why?
When I get to my room I take off my pajamas and slip on a striped long sleeve shirt and a maroon skirt. I brush my hair and leave it down.

I sit down at the vanity in the room, I put on mascara and light makeup.
"Jessica!" Yelled Joshua.
"Coming!" I yell back.
I run out my door and slip on black ankle boots. I run to the front door and see him turn around. He just stands there.
"Yes.....?" I say.
"Uhh- Nothing!" He says while shaking his head.
We walk out of his house and we get into his car. I buckle my seatbelt and turn to face Joshua.
"Where are we going?" I say with a questioning tone.
"You'll see soon!" He said while smirking.
We pull up to a cabin and I give Joshua a questioning look. He just smiles and gets out of the car, he walks over and opens my door. I step out and follow him to the front door.
He slowly unlocks the door and swings it open. I walk inside only to find it pitch black. I start to turn around but I am pulled back by someone jumping on me and hugging me. I scream at first but then I know who it is when they laugh.
"Charlotte!!" I whisper.
"In the flesh!" She says while clapping.
"Oh my god I missed you so much, I didn't text you because my mom took my phone!" I say calming down.
"I know Joshua told me!" She says while smirking.
I turn around to see him leaning against the door frame. I run up and give him a hug.
"Thank you so much!" I say but my voice is muffled by his shirt.
"No problem" He says while smiling.
I look around and raise my eyebrow.
"Wait, why are we in a cabin?" I whisper.
"Because I thought it would be risky sending you over to her house" Joshua says.
"How long are we here?" I ask.
"Three days!" She yells.
I laugh.

Joshua went home to give me and Charlotte some time together. Charlotte is in the kitchen getting popcorn to watch a scary movie. I miss nights like these.
I'm broken from my thoughts when Charlotte walks in.
"Ready!" She says.
"Hell yeah!" I yell.
She laughs and sits down next to me pressing play to start the movie.
