BEEP!

I opened my eyes only to be blinded by bright lights, I sigh already knowing where I am. Well maybe if you didn't try to kill yourself you wouldn't be here, I said to myself.

Then it hit me where is Joshua?,

I opened my eyes and tried to sit up but I failed because the small motion sent extreme pain through my whole body. I managed a somewhat seated position and looked around the room, only to find Joshua in the corner with his head in his hands.

"J- Joshua?" I asked in a horsed voice from the lack of water.

He looked up from the floor, our eyes met and you could tell he's been crying , his eyes are blood shot, his hair messed up, and he's in sweat pants.

He rushed to my side and started checking me over. I picked up my arm realizing its all bandage up, I place my hand on his cheek.

His eyes met mine and he finally asked the question I knew he was going to ask.

"Why?" Was all he said.

"A human can only take so much, and with James being back put a cherry on top, he made me feel used, and broken. I can't take it anymore." I said what came from my heart.

"The broken are more valuable then a replacement" he said while looking into my eyes.

"And you my love cannot be replaced" he said while getting up.

He walked to where he was sitting previously and started pacing the room, then he stopped and looked at me.

"Ahh Fuck it" he said while rushing over to me and slamming his lips on mine.

We pull apart breathing heavy, he pushed me over to one side of the hospital bed and got in with me. Joshua pulled me by my waist closer to him and snuggled His face into my side, I started playing with his hair. After twenty minutes like that I asked

"Where's Charlotte?" I said while looking at him.

"She fainted so she's in her own hospital room" he said while looking up.

After five minutes of silence Joshua decided to talk.

"Jessica" he said.

"Hmmmm" was all I replied with.

"I know you're my student but over the past few months and spending time with you I started to grow attached, and when I almost lost you yesterday I broke down because I knew that I would never find a girl like you again." He said while he started to cry.

"Why would you want me I've been raped, beaten, and mentally abused, I'm nothing" I said while looking away.

"Why do you keep saying that you are something, and I don't care if you're broken, you are so much more then what you give yourself credit for." He said while looking into my eyes.

"What are you saying Joshua?" I asked getting confused.

"I love you Jessica" he said while kissing my wrapped arm.

"And I want to give us a try, be mine Jessica" he said while his eyes gleam with hope.

"I'll give us a try" I said while smiling.
