Chapter 10 ♥️

TESSA POV
I'm so ready. I brought my cute sling bag with me, beach hat and sunglasses.
I went downstairs and saw the others in the living room, talking and waiting for me.

Tessa: Let's go guys!
Jake: Thank God! Tessa what took you so long?
Tessa: Nothing, getting ready I guess.
Ericka: Well T, you're pretty.
Nick: You gonna look for some guys out there?
Emilio & Ivan: Ooooo!!!
Tony: That's my girl! Go get 'em!
Jake: Yeah. Guys will totally make their first move.
Chance: Yeah. *not happy*

I saw Chance across the living room looking sad and disappointed. I know we low key flirt and share feelings with each other but I won't ever look at other guys. I already have my own, my only Chance. I looked at Chance for the second time, again, he's not feeling it. I'll DM him later.

We went outside, our Mom (Ericka) locked the house, Jake checked that all the doors are locked and all the security cameras are in action. We're now ready to go.

All of us got inside the Team 10 van. Nick's going to drive, Jack called shotgun. Me, Ericka and Kade are on the second row, Chance and Tony are on the third row, and the Martinez twins and Chad are on the back row. Low key I want to seat with Chance on the third row but somebody will suspects me for being so obvious.

After an hour of driving, we reached our destination. The LA beach. The wind is awesome, just a normal afternoon beach wind, the sun's light is neutral, not too crowded and not too noisy.

We set up our place, it's 25 meters awar from the water. The perfect spot. Me and Ericka laid out our blankets and chairs. The boys in the other hand are carrying coolers. Nick sets up the camera in a perfect angle for the photoshoot later because he said mthe background would be nice later hence the sunset. Tony grabs the beach volleyball that he bought yesterday and called us out to play beach volleyball. I don't feel like it at the moment, so I just watched them. Jake, Tony, Chance and Nick vs. Kade, Ericka, and the Martinez Twins. Chad went out to buy materials for our bbq later. So 4 on 4. While they were playing, I can't stop thinking about Chance. Is he mad, disappointed, annoyed, or sad? I don't have the right time to talk to him because everyone in Team 10 sees everything like a hawk and smells like a hellhound if something fishy is going. So I just watched them play and kept staring at Chance. He's very hot, not in a way that he's hot because he's shirtless, it's because the way he play, he smiles perfectly, his cute eyes focuses on the game and his hair bounces dashingly while jumping. He's great, I wish I could spend time with him later! Can't wait!

They've just finished the game for an hour, and everyone's so tired. As expected, Jake's team won because the Martinez twins haven't played volleyball ever. I congratulated both teams for a job well done. I handed them out a bottle of water each. They all sat down on the blanket and rest while waiting for the sun to set.

It's still 3:00 pm. Chad just got back from his grocery shopping. Nick, Kade and Ericka, prepares the bbq to kill time. Chad went in the water to surf, the Martinez twins and Anthony are playing water guns. Jake's in the water vlogging. While me and Chance stayed, to guard our stuff.

Chance: Hey.
Tessa: Hey Chance.
Chance: Are you having fun?
Tessa: I don't know.
Chance: What do you mean, I don't know?
Tessa: Earlier.
Chance: What about earlier? Is it because you're going to look at other guys they said?
Tessa: Well yeah. I saw your reaction. And I can't stop thinking about it.
Chance: *laughing* Nah Tess. I trust you! *smiling* Well yeah earlier, others were like supporting you that hopefully you'll find a guy here. And tbh I was pretty sad. I was like going to speak out and scream shut up, but I'm strong and I know that you won't do it.
Tessa: Aww! Chance that's so sweet! *blushing and smiling*
Chance: You're welcome *winks* So go have fun out there!
Tessa: If someone's going to take my place to guard.
Chance: Yeah! So let's chat for a bit.
Tessa: Cool! So what are you looking forward for today?
Chance: That's easy, to witness the sunset with the beautiful person in the world, not only that but she can dance, she smiles beautifully like she's in front of a camera and has an adorable laugh!
Tessa: Aww! Thanks Chance! I love you so much.
Chance: *looks around if anyone's near* I know. *laughing*
Tessa: Oh shut up! *laughing and pushes Chance*
Chance: I'm sorry, I love you more Tess!

Two hours past, Kade called out everyone to gather near him for the photoshoot. We all saw the beautiful sunset. I stand beside Chance. I grabbed his right hand, he grabbed mine too. Everyone's staring at the sunset, so go for it, no one's looking after all. Me and Chance looked at each other for like one second, he smiled and I too. His "looking forward" came true. I'm happy.

Jake goes in first for the photoshoot.
Now Jake, Chance and Tony. After several shots, Chance went in solo. Then Anthony. I was up next. First I went in solo, then Ericka joined me. We took like 10 shots. I don't see Chance anywhere behind the camera. As Kade told me to wait because he has to adjust the lens, I looked for Chance.

I saw him, Tony and Jake in the right side of the beach, several meters far from us, a lot of people came after them. I thought that it's probably the Jake Paulers taking selfies and autographs with them. As I looked closely, they're just ordinary beach girls in a bikini who likes to take take pictures with hot smoking guys. I saw two girls, arms wrapped around Chance, taking a picture with MY ONLY CHANCE! Kade interrupted me and said that he adjusted the lens and now we're back taking pictures.

Kade took 5 more shots. My eyes are in the camera but my mind is on Chance and the other girls. I need to concentrate. Then suddenly, a loud laugh from a group of girls came out of nowhere. The loud came from the area where Chance, Tony and Jake are. The others looked towards their direction. I just finished taking a couple of pictures. The others were like "Nice boys!". They're rooting for them.
I'm now jealous. I'm super jealous. I waited for the others to continue their photoshoot. Kade said to continue the shoot before the sunset ends. So I left the group and walked towards Chance who's taking photos with OTHER GIRLS! GOSH! IM SO JEALOUS!
