Chapter 27 ♥️

TESSA POV
Its literally 7:00 pm now. I woke up earlier 4:30 pm. I haven't DM Chance yet. Maybe he's buying dinner. I dont know, I'm scared and a bit worried.

I hang out at the office where the others are. Jake, Anthony, Ericka, Ray and the Martinez Twins are there. I sat near Ericka, feeling worried and still thinking of Chance.

Ericka: Are you okay T?
Tessa: Yeah.
Jake: Yo Tessa, you sure?
Tessa: Yeah. *I pretend to smile*
Emilio: Where's Chance?
Ray: Yeah, where's Chance at?
Ivan: Maybe at a girl's house.
Ray: Nah, Chance wont score an LA girl.
Emilio: Maybe, he's good looking too, like me.
Ivan: *laughing* Good one Emilio.
Ray: Maybe right now, Chance's scoring.
Emilio: Yeah *laughing*

I just listened to them. I didn't get mad at them because we haven't told them yet except for Jake and Tony. If we told them before, I'm sure I'll interrupt their talk and get mad at them. But now, I'm just pissed, why am I even here?

I saw Ray, Emilio and Ivan laughing and talking about Chance. Ericka's on her phone, doesn't really care about whats going on. Jake looked at me, I read his expression.

Jake: Where's your bf?

I looked at him and gave him a "I dont know" look. I need to get out of here. They're still talking about Chance, Tony and Jake are also worried of their best friend. So I made an excuse because I cant stand here anymore.

Tessa: Yo guys, gotta go and rest for the night, mkay?
Martinez Twins: Goodnight Tessa!
Ray: Goodnight girl.
Ericka: Goodnight T.

I went out of the office and sat at the top of the stairs, looking at my phone. Jake and Tony walked upstairs and comfort me.

Jake: Dont listen to them okay Tessa?
Tessa: Thanks Jake.
Tony: Come on, you knew Chance right? He would never do that to you?
Tessa: I do trust him.
...
Tessa: Jake, its now 8:00 pm. Should I call him?
Jake: If I were you, I would facetime him right now.
Tony: Yeah. Go Tessa, I know our boy, he always answers facetimes and calls.
Tessa: Alright.

I facetimed Chance, after several seconds, he answered. I saw Chance, he looks tired, haggard and full of sweat.

Chance: Sup Tessa, Im about to leave because I stopped by and help A...
Girl: Chance, can you come here and help.

I heard a girl's voice. I was shocked. Jake and Tony was shocked too. I dropped my phone and quickly went to my room.

Im crying. I can't believe it. I know that he has a valid explanation but he could've have texted me or called me so I won't be here, thinking stupid and being worried.

I cried, my stomach hurts, I haven't had dinner yet. My phone's still there with on the floor, maybe Jake picked it up or talked Chance out.

After several minutes, I went to sleep on an empty stomach.
