Chapter 20 ♥️

CHANCE POV
We arrived at the cafe where I'll treat Tessa for dinner. I opened the door and let my Tessa go in first. A gentleman point for me! The inside is so classy. Lots of "wood" themed objects. Its not that big and not that small. There's also a stage at the corner, there's a guitarist and a vocalist. They're singing songs. Not a lot of people in here. I can mostly see couples having desserts and listening to the live performance.

Tessa grabbed the bottom of my hoodie and pulled me to our table. It's 2 tables next to the live performance. I grabbed the chair so she can sit. Another gentleman point! Seconds later, a waiter came in to our table and handed out the menu.

Chance: So Tessa, what are you getting?
Tessa: I'll get a blueberry cheesecake and a strawberry frappuccino.
Chance: Good choice.
Waiter: Have you decided sir?
Chance: Yes. 2 blueberry cheesecakes and 2 strawberry frappuccinos. Thats all.
Waiter: Great choice indeed sir. I'll be back to bring your orders sir.
Chance: Yeah. *smiling*

The waiter left and prepares our orders.

Tessa: Well someone's nice tonight.
Chance: Yeah. I want this night to go smoothly.
Tessa: It will Chance.
Chance: Thanks Tessa.
Tessa: So who's going to play Rose?
Chance: I don't know yet. They informed me that the cast meeting will be tomorrow.
Tessa: Is that it? Well have fun tomorrow.
Chance: I will Tess. I'm excited to meet new people and ...
Tessa: To work with Rose?
Chance: What? *laughing* No Tessa. After all we'll just act.
Tessa: You'd better be Chance.
Chance: I'll never cheat on you.
Tessa: *smiling* That's so sweet Chance.
Chance: Why would I cheat on a girl who has a face cuter than a panda.
Tessa: Okay stop Chance you're making me blush.

5 minutes later, the waiter earlier got back to our table with our orders. The cheesecake and the frappuccino looks delicious. We talked silly conversations while eating. She always laughs at my simple jokes. I don't know why but I like looking at her laughing, makes the world also giggles.

I'm barely eating my cheesecake. I munched on my cheesecake because I'm starving, got distracted by Tessa's laugh. I'm clearly on focus eating with my cheesecake. Then suddenly...

Tessa: Hey.
Chance: What?

Tessa's eyes pointed her hand resting on the table. She was gesturing me to hold hands with her. I laughed a little and went on with it. She's very clingy tonight.

We just finished our dinner. It was magnificent, the cake is delicious and the frappuccino is amazing.

Vocalist: Good evening everyone. Who wants to get on stage and sing a song for us aye?

Tessa looked at me and told me that I should go up there and sing. Well I CAN sing but not that good. I declined her request. Then she made an adorable face. She wants me to sing. Gosh. I can't say no to that beautiful face of hers.

Chance: Fine.
Tessa: Awesome go Chance. Do it for babe!

Tessa just called me 'babe'. That make moved. I was blushing. Now I'm pumped.

I got on stage.

Vocalist: Good Evening sir, whats your name?
Chance: Chance Sutton.
Vocalist: Lets give it a round of applause for Chance everybody.

The whole room applaud. I saw Tessa sitting on our table, very supportive. She's smiling and clapping. Very cute.

Vocalist: So what are you going to sing Chance?
Chance: One by Ed Sheeran.
Vocalist: Alright. Who're you going to dedicate this song to?
Chance: This song is for my Tessa Brooks.

I pointed out to Tessa. She was smiling. People looking at her direction. She doesn't care anyways, she's very excited to hear me sing by the looks of it.

Vocalist: Ladies and gentleman, Chance Sutton, One by Ed Sheeran.

Once again the entire room applaud. Tessa's staring at me though giving me "You can do it Chance" look.

I really love Tessa. She supported me and it makes me happy.

Gotta sing this song from the heart. FOR MY TESSA!
