Chapter 6 ♥️

CHANCE POV
I woke up early at 8:00 am. Everyone's still asleep. Jake's in the office though starting his vlog. So I drank milk and went upstairs to check on Tessa if she's awake. Her bedroom door was locked so I guess she's still sleeping and didn't bother waking her up.

Yesterday night was awesome. Me and Tessa get to talk to each other, we got through some serious and funny topics we both liked, and she kissed and hugged me. I was non stop smiling, she's happy, then I'm happy. I'm just so happy that I get to be with the girl that has a personality of a cute pug who likes getting hugged.

I went downstairs to go see if Tony's awake. I saw Tony still on the couch and on his phone.

Tony: Morning bro!
Chance: Gmorning! Hey wanna grab a bite?
Tony: Sure... *smiling* On second thought, you should ask the person behind you.
Chance: Who? *turns around*
Tessa: Good Morning Chance. *rubs her eyes and smiling*
Chance: Goodmorning Tessa! Wanna grab breakfast?
Tessa: *awakens* Yeah! Sure Chance, I'll go get my phone and wallet real quick, be right back!

I saw her with full energy as I asked her. She turned around and makes her way up to the stairs quickly without looking back.

Chance: Wanna come bro?
Tony: Nah bro! You two should get to know each other better. Know what I'm saying?
Chance: Yeah cuz thanks!

After awhile, I saw Tessa walking downstairs fully prepared, she had her makeup on, she's wearing her Tessa Brooks hoodie with cute denim shorts.

Chance: Woah Tess! *smiling and laughing* We're just going to eat breakfast.

Tessa leaned up, she tip toed, puts both of her arms on my shoulder and pressed my body downward. I could smell the fragrance of her curly brown hair, it makes my heart jumped. Then she whispered to my left ear.

Tessa: I know you liked it tho.

I stood up, and leaned my head to her left shoulder and also whispered...

Chance: Yeah. So much.

She first walked towards the door and I was right behind her. Seeing her back, makes my heart felt that I was walking in the right road. She will lead me to a better future. She will make me happy if she'd lead me. And I hope that better future someday will be me and her.

Jake saw us and asked, "Where are you two going?".

Tessa: We're going to eat breakfast.

Jake: Can I come?

I looked at Tessa, confused if she's going to answer yes or no. So I made the decision.

Chance: Sure bro. *not happy at all*

Jake: Great! Wassup! Jake Paulers! Before we will go to set, me, Chance and Tessa, will go eat breakfast. Let's capture some vibes while we're getting there bruh because LA is lit yo!! Cue transitions!

While the three of us're walking, Tessa's not feeling it at all, earlier she was very flirty and she's super excited that together we'll go eat breakfast, just the two of us. But then Jake came along. I couldn't reject my best friend, I feel sorry for him after that if I did. I'm gonna make it up to Tessa later.

It was a half hour walk. We were walking on the left sidewalk, Jake's on his camera capturing shots to put it on his vlog. Me and Tessa are walking side by side, almost a 10 meter gap between us and Jake.

Tessa: Hey Chance.
Chance: Yeah Tess?
Tessa: I understand that you don't want to reject your best friend earlier but ... I was really looking forward to this breakfast date we're going to have.
Chance: I'm sorry Tess. I'll make it up to you. And I promise, next time, just the two of us.
Tessa: Really? Thanks Chance! You're the best!

We've just arrived at Breakfasters (restaurant that only serves breakfast meals). I told Jake that we should sit on a square table so that all of us three can fit in. I sit beside Tessa and Jake sits in front of us. Tessa said that she's going to go to the cashier to order, leaving me and Jake alone in the table.

Jake: So Chance *smirks*.
Chance: What bro?
Jake: You know *raises his left eyebrow* Tessa.
Chance: What about her?
Jake: What do you think of her?
Chance: She's awesome dude. Plus she's pretty af.
Jake: So you two are dating then?
Chance: What? Dude, it's literally just my 3rd here on LA. That is too quick bro.
Jake: Yeah, you got a point bro. You two are a match though.
Chance: Thanks bro.

I raised my hand, he smacked his hand to my hand and laughed. Several topics later, Tessa came. We talked some funny topics about the future plans on Jake's vlogs. I said that maybe we should go to a real haunted mansion and document if there is a real ghost or not. Jake was pretty hyped. Tessa was not a fan of my idea, so I grabbed her hand and she first intertwined it with her fingers. Jake said something crazy, like he's planning to prank the Martinez Twins that Donald Trump is coming to the house. That would be pretty hilarious. The three of us laughed while Tessa's hands and mine are still affixed.

Minutes later, our food came. I released my hand first because I'm starving. I looked up Tessa and said to her "later" using my eyes. The food was delicious. We paid for our meals, and went straight home.

We arrived at the house for about 10:30. Jake said he was going to set and he'll be back later in the afternoon at 2:00. Tessa said "I'll go clean my bedroom, see you later ;)". She turns around and went straight to go upstairs.

I want her to look back. I looked around if anyone was near around us. The coast is clear. I quickly grabbed her waist from behind, and back hugged him while my arms are around his waist. She rests her head on my cheat and looked up to see me. She was smiling and laughing. Then I said to her.

Chance: Here's the "later" you were craving for.
