Chapter 11 ♥

CHESSA POV
I stormed out from the group and quickly walked up to where the three are. As I kept on staring Chance with two girls, my jealous meter keeps on increasing and the distance on where I am walking is gradually decreasing from them. I saw Anthony behind Jake laughing and screaming. I couldn't make out the words his screaming but I'm sure he's rooting for his best friend. What am I going to do then? I act without thinking. I'm getting closer, I gotta act fast. What will I do? I don't want to lose. I looked back to see how the others are doing, they're still busy with the photo shoot. I'm getting nearer and nearer. I shouted...

Tessa: CHANCE!
Chance: *looks at Tessa* Tessa!
Jake & Tony: Tessa. Hey!
Jake: How's the photo shoot?
Tessa: Its okay I guess, well YOU guys are doing a 'private' photo shoot here as well.
Tony: Nah! They're girls who asked Chance to take a picture with them.
Jake: Yeah! Because that's my boy! A Chick Magnet!
Tessa: Oh. Okay.
Chance looked at me. I saw his eyes saying "It's not what it looks like". I understand but I still get jealous. Chance and the girls looked at the camera smiling, as if they were taking a picture with a model. Well my Chance is no model, she's just MY CHANCE.
Tessa: Okay! That's enough photo shoot for today.

*I walked up to the girls*

Girl 1: Oh Hi.
Girl 2: I wanna take a picture with him. Hey can you take a picture of us?
Girl 1: Girl, that's wonderful. Well I gotta take a step back hehe.

The girl asked me to take her phone just to take a picture with her and Chance. I refused. I grabbed Chance's arm and got away with those girls.

Girl 2: Wait, who are you and where are you taking him?
Tessa: He's my boyfriend. So please get away from here and stay away from him.

Chance was shocked and still didn't spoke a word. Jake and Tony heard what I said. They were as shocked as Chance. My hand are still on his arm, I kept dragging him away from the girls. Then Jake and Tony came up to us.

Jake: Bro! I didn't know Tessa was your gf.
Tony: Yeah bro! If I knew, then we couldn't have let you go took a picture with those girls.
Tessa: Guys. Chill. Let me explain. Me and Chance are friends. I just acted weirdly, that's all.
Chance: Tessa...
Jake: Weirdly?
Tony: Wait... Are you jealous Tessa? *smirks*
Tessa: What? No, why would I be jealous? *blushing*
Jake: Tessa you're totally jealous!
Tony: Oh Tess, you're caught girl. *laughing*
Tessa: Never mind, I got to go to Ericka, I'll help her with the bbq.
Jake: Oh okay Tess, just tell us if its ready.
Chance: See you later Tessa. *whispers to Tessa* Thanks Tess.
Tessa: *smiling* Okay, see you later Chance!
Jake: Wait, where's our see you later?

CHANCE POV
I saw Tessa smiling, she turned around and walked away to go to her best friend. I was speechless back there. My heart is flattered. She called me "boyfriend". I was truly grateful. I wish that's true tho.

Jake: Dude, Chance! You and Tessa?
Tony: Yeah dude, what's the deal?
Chance: Bro we're just friends.
Jake: Ah na uh. Tessa and your eyes are meant to be. And that's not a sign of friendship.
Tony: More like in a relationship. Dude spill it out. We're your best friends!
Chance: Fine.
Jake: So you guys are dating?
Chance: No.
Tony: So what are you guys then?
Chance: We're just low key flirting. We're not dating dating. But we both have mutual feelings.
*awkward silence*
Tony: That's my boy! *celebrating*
Jake: Dude! That's awesome. You're good looking, she's hot. You two are the bomb!
Chance: Thanks bro. Don't tell this to anyone tho.
Jake: Yeah bro. What stays in an Ohio talk, stays in Ohio talk.
Tony: Yeah! But I'm proud of you bro.
Jake: Yeah me too bro. Yo low key, I saw Tessa staring at you while we were playing beach volleyball.
Chance: Really? Oh. *blushing*
Tony: *laughing* Come on man. Bring it in.
*they hugged*
Chance: Seriously, keep it a secret.
Tony: So when are you going to ask her out?
Chance: I don't know bro.
Jake: Dude, you gotta ask her out, come on man!
Chance: I'm thinking bro. I want it to be so romantic.
Jake: Dude, I have an idea.
Tony: What dude?
Jake: Nah kidding, I've got nothing.
Chance: Bro thanks you two helping me but I want to do it by myself.
Tony: Bro, we got you back!
Jake: Yeah! That's nonsense. Myself, myself, blah!
Chance: *laughing* Okay okay!

30 minutes passed. Tessa walked in.

Tessa: Hey, what are you guys talking about?
Jake: Nothing. *smirks*
Tony: Nah, just stuff. *smirks*
Chance: Yeah nothing Tess. *smirks*
Tessa: Okay you guys! *laughing* Dinner's ready!
Jake: Really, cool, let's go!
Jake and Tony walked in front of us. While me and Tessa walked behind them. So that the others won't see us. I grabbed Tessa's hand. We walked while holding hands.
Tessa: Chance, Jake and Tony will see us.
Chance: Yeah, they're cool with us though.
Tessa: You told them?
Chance: Yeah, they got me. But it's fine though, They're as much as happy as me.
*Jake and Tony looked back and gave us a thumbs up*
Tessa: You guys! Thanks! *laughing*
Chance: Thanks for earlier Tess.
Tessa: What about earlier?
Chance: You said boyfriend.
Tessa: Oh yeah! *laughing* We're just friends!
Chance: Yeah I know! But thanks anyway.
Tessa: Sure!
Chance: I saw your expression earlier, you were pretty jealous.
Tessa: Is it obvious?
Chance: Yeah, I think its pretty cute!
Tessa: Oh boo-hoo *laughing*
Chance: I want it to be like this forever.
Tessa: Me too! I'm happy!
Chance: Same!

We regrouped with the others and all set for dinner. We all sat in a circle. I sat between Jake and Tony. I saw Tessa across the circle, sitting beside Nick and Ericka who were talking. I'm very glad that I sat here because my point of view is very amazing. I can see Tessa very clearly, the remaining light shines through her face. Her eyes glowing and her smile shines. The complete package. She's mine!

We all went home before dark. They went straight to the house. We all said our goodnights to each other. Leaving me and Tessa outside. I hugged Tessa very tightly. I said goodnight to her. We entered the house together, the others were all in their bedrooms, Kade went home though. I ushered her to her room. And I went to my room to take a bath. After I took a bath. I got dressed and laid down on my mattress. Closed my eyes.

Chance: My favorites; the beach and Tessa. I whispered to myself.
