Goosebumps rose on my arms and I straighten my back.
This kid will be the death of me.
"Sam. Stop it." I whispered harshly, leaning towards him.
He looked up at me with a smirk and acted confused.
"What are you talking about, Riley?"
I glared at him and grabbed his hand again, trying to get it off my thigh.
He finally let go of my leg, but was still holding onto my hand. He slowly laced our fingers together. I looked down at our hand, shocked.
Little pricks of tingles shot through my arm. I looked up at Sam and he was looking down at our hands too. He looked just as surprised.
My stomach immediately felt weird, like it was tossing in circles.
I shook my head and tried to forgot about what just happened and watch the rest of the movie.

"You guys wanna go get some Taco Bell?"
I shook my head. "Nah, I think I'm gonna head home."
"I'll walk you?" Connor offered.
"Sure, that'd be okay."
I said my goodbyes to all the guys and Connor and I started walking.
"Soo.." He trailed off.
"I feel like a bad friend."
"Why?" He questioned.
"We barely hang out, and were best friends. Tomorrow, you and me are going to spend the whole day together." I stated firmly.
As we walked up to my door, Connor said, "I'd like that."
I smiled and gave him a small wave before walking into my house.
I quietly went up the stairs, trying not to wake my parents.
After successfully making it to my room, I changed into my pajamas and climbed into my bed.

When I woke up around eleven, I realized I never told Connor a time or place, so I got into the shower and hurried to get ready.
I threw on some light denim high waisted shorts and my nirvana crop top. I put on my black vans and quickly brushed my hair.
I picked up my phone and called Connor.
"Morning, Riley!" He cheered.
"Hey Connor, meet me at the Starbucks on the corner in 15 minutes?" I asked.
He agreed and I hung up, plopping myself on my bed while looking through twitter.
Around ten minutes later, I got up and began my walk to Starbucks.
I had my earbuds in, and I was looking around at everything and anything.
Soon enough, I opened the door and saw Connor, taking a picture of his drink. I chuckled and shook my head.
"You're such a white girl." I laughed as his head shot up in surprise.
"I am not!" He argued.
"Yeah, sure," I rolled my eyes. "I'm going to get a drink."
I walked over to the counter, and waited for someone to take my order.
Whoever was supposed to be helping me, was taking forever.
I pulled my phone out and started to scroll through twitter, still waiting.
"Hello, sorry about that. What can I get you?" I looked up to see a guy, around my age.
He had light brown hair, and dark brown eyes. He was gorgeous.
"Uh," I suddenly became anxious, "I'll have a small green tea?" It came out as a question.
"No problem." He winked. "That'll be $3.97."
I pulled out a five dollar bill and handed it to him, giving him a small smile.
"I'm Tyler. What's your name, beautiful?"
Hmm, he was flirty. He also seems like a player.
"Riley."
"Beautiful name." He smirked.
As he handed me my cup, he handed me a slip of paper. His number.
I smirked at him and blew him a kiss before turning around and walking to Connor, who had witnessed the whole thing.
As we were walking out, he asked, "Are you gonna call him?"
I snorted, "Nope."
"Why not? He seemed into you."
"Connor, he's a total player. I bet he flirts with every girl that steps foot in that building."
Despite my words, I slipped the paper into my back pocket, not sure if I would actually call him.

"No fair, you cheated!" Connor whined.
"No! You're just a loser!" I stuck my tongue out at him as we were walking to Sam and Kian's house.
After the Starbucks situation, Connor and I went bowling, to which he lost miserably.
"You're just... super human!" He exclaimed.
I raised an eyebrow at him as we went up the drive way.
"Superhuman?" I questioned as we entered the living room, where Sam, Kian, Trevor, Ricky, Jc, and Sam's 'lover' were all now watching our banter.
Why is she here?
"Yeah!" Connor almost yelled.
"Well I guess that makes sense, I mean I'm super funny, super cool, super nice," Sam snorted. "and super hot." I finished with a glare.
"Ew, you're not hot!" The girl sitting on Sam's lap shrieked.
What was her name?
Bella?
Brittney?
Bailey?
Becky! That's her name.
"Uh actually, i think all the guys that hit on her today beg to differ." Connor chuckled.
"Connor, they were like fourteen!" I argued.
"Okay, what about Tyler?"
"Who's Tyler?" Sam cut in.
I smirked. "Is that jealousy I hear?"
Becky laughed, "Why would he be jealous? He has me!"
Everyone stifled their laughter, I think Sam even let out a little small snort.
"Invite him!" Connor demanded.
"Why?"
"So everyone can get to meet him! We'll watch movies and stuff!"
I pulled out my phone, glaring at Connor. I really didn't want to seem eager.
I dialed the number and waited.
"Hello?" Tyler's voice came through.
Connor gestured me to out it on speaker and I stubbornly did.
"Hey Tyler, it's Riley. You wanna come hang out with me and my friends?"
I cringed at how desperate I sounded.
"As long as I get I see that gorgeous face of yours again, I'm in."
In the corner of my eye, I saw Sam roll his.
This should be an interesting night.
