"What?!" I screamed, anger and shock overtaking my body. My parents both looked surprised by my outburst but recovered quickly. My dad put on a stern face."Yes, we are moving to California. Go pack your room. We leave on Friday."
He said seriously and got up from the table. My mom got up, gave me a sympathetic look, and soon followed my father. We're leaving on Friday? It's Thursday!
I grunted and stomped to my room, slamming the door. I can't believe they waited until the very last minute to tell me.I grabbed my 2 large red suitcases and started filling them with all of my black ripped jeans and flannels. That's mainly what my closet consisted of. When the first one had all my clothes, I grabbed the second one and put my MacBook Pro, Canon rebel t3i and my chargers in it.
Sighing, i started pulling the pictures and posters off the wall, placing them in a cardboard box. I continue putting all my things in boxes until my room is almost completely empty, my bed frame the only thing in there.
I sigh, walking over to the sleeping bag on the floor, I lay down and fall into a dreamless sleep.

I woke up to my mom screaming at me from the living room. I groan, hiding my face in my pillow. Suddenly, I feel the covers being pulled off and freezing water being pouring on me.
I shriek, stumbling to get up quick. I turn to glare at my mom, who was looking at me innocently.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" I scream. My mother stares at me for a couple of seconds.
"We're leaving for the airport in an hour. Get ready." She said, as she turned on her heels and walked out. I stared at her in disbelief. I rush into the bathroom and turn the warm shower on. I get in, wash my hair and body, and also shave my legs. I jump out and go to my closet. What do i wear? I hear it's hot in California. I grab a pair of ripped light blue high waisted shorts, and white vintage tank top with a skateboarder doing a trick on it. I put on my red flannel, rolling the sleeves up to my elbows and leaving the buttons undone. I quickly slip on my black converse and pull a red beanie on my head. I look in the bathroom mirror, and nod aproving my outfit.
I walk through the penthouse, a tear traveling down my cheek. I'm going to miss New York. This is where i grew up, in this very house. I looked around the empty dinning room.
"RILEY LET'S GO, WE'RE GOING TO MISS OUR FLIGHT."
A girl can only wish, i thought.
I close my eyes, taking a deep breath, i grab my phone along with headphones. I also had my Jansport with my camera and an extra set of headphones. Hopefully i can flim while i'm on the plane. On the way to the airport, i fall back asleep, only to be shaken away. i groggily rub my eyes.
'C'mon Riley, we need to go!' My dad said, frustrated.
I rolled my eyes, getting out of the car and walking straight to the airport, not caring if my parents were behind me or not. I caught a glimpse of the huge line for security and let out an annoyed huff.
I got in line with my parents behind me, boarding pass in hand. I stuck my headphones in and listened to the calming voice of Kellin Quinn, my worries floating away.
Before I knew it we were going through tons of metal detectors and security guards patting us down.
After I went through that traumatic experience airports call safety, I grabbed my Jansport and waiting for my parents.
When we had everything settled, we all walked to the seating area and waited for our flight.

"Flight 24D to Los Angeles, California boarding now." A monotoned voice echoed throughout the airport. i sighed and looked at my parents, they both gave me encourging looks as we walk up to the scanner. The lady smiles at us and rips the bottom half of the ticket off, gesturing us to walk onto the plane.
I walk in, nervously looking around, trying to find my seat. Row 32, Seat E. I walk to the back, finding my row empty, i sit down in my seat, which is sadly a middle seat.
I really didn't understand why i didn't have seats next to my parents. I just hope it's not some old couple. As this thought goes through my brain, i see a larger, balding man coming towards the back. "Oh god please no please no god please no!" I start panicking. " HEY SEAT BUDDIE!" He exclaimed happily. I looked at him with widened eyes.
Oh my god.
He squished infront of me, taking the window seat. I just stared at him, wide eyes as he brought out a huge paper bag. taking out a huge sandwich. He caught me staring and nudged the sandwich towards me. "You want some?" He asked with a mouth full. I just stared at him. He shrugged and continued eating.
The plane hasn't even left the ground. I look towards the empty seat and scoot closer to it. As i look up, i see a teenage boy, around the same age as me. He looked at the number on my row and took the seat next to me. He hasn't even noticed me yet, so i just pulled my phone out and went on twitter. I updated my feed and looked at all the different notifications, some hate, and some asking to follow them.
"Woah." I heard a deep voice say from next to me.
