"Oh my god!" I gasped. It's been years since I've heard my mom's voice. Sure, I had pictures but I wasn't able to hear her voice. Tears threatened to fall. Gray must have felt the same thing because I saw tears start to form in his eyes. He was never able to meet his mother, all he knew was she disappeared the same time my mom did.

(Recordings in italics)

"Gray, honey, if you're watching this." Gray's mom spoke, "It means Joshua met with your brother, Damien, but you were able to get this drive before him. Your brother has had this video forever but he doesn't know this is on the drive. This is for yours and Elizabeth's eyes only." She smiled, "Now, I hope, you and Elizabeth are watching this together. As a couple."

Gray smiled and grabbed my hand, giving it a squeeze. I pulled our interlocked hands to my lips and kissed the top of his hand.

My mom's voice came through, "Now, if you guys aren't together, that's okay but we hope for it anyway. You two being together is how you'll get through this thing." I saw my mom glance at Gray's mom, Cassie, "Cass is just being herself." Cassie just smiled and shrugged. My mom's eyes turned serious, "Now, Izzy, as you know, your father is involved with very bad people. We need your help to stop this." A tear slipped down her cheek, "Now, I don't know if I'm alive and they're just holding me captive by the time you watch this or if I'm dead. Let's hope alive."

I paused the video and walked away, the tears spilled down my face, "I can't watch that Gray. Not now. Not after everything that has happened."

Gray pulled me into his arms, "It's alright Izzy. We'll watch it when you're ready." He kissed my temple, "Just promise me you won't watch it without me."

I gave him a small smile, "I promise."

There was a knock at the door and I answered it, it was Damien, he was dressed in a black suit. Looking like the CEO of some major company, which, in a way, he is. "Hey cutie, may I come in?"

"Sure Damien." I stepped aside so he can walk in.

Gray walked up to him and said quietly but fiercely, "Damien. Stop. Flirting. With. Izzy."

Damien let out a small laugh and I looked at the floor, just then my sister came down, "Zach!" She said, a hopeful tone in her voice but her smile quickly faded, "Oh. It's not him. Who is this?"

"I'm Damien, Gray's sibling." He looked at Ava, "And you are?"

She smiled, "Ava. Izzy's sister."

"Well, you are adorable." I saw my sister blush and I rolled my eyes, just then Zach came into my house without knocking.

"I agree, she is adorable and she's mine." He shot Damien a warning look.

"I'm yours?" Ava asked, confused. She and Zach weren't a couple yet but I had a feeling they would be soon.

He smiled at her, "Yes, you're mine." And to prove it, Zach kissed Ava on the lips. Very passionately.

Damien smirked, "I'm so going to steal her heart." He whispered to Gray.

Gray punched Damien and said, "No, you're not." in a low voice. Then in his normal voice, he said, "What brings you by Damien?" I looked at Zach and Ava who were still kissing.

I walked over to them, "Go to your room but leave the door open."

Ava blushed and said, "Okay." I loved how she listened to me. She wasn't ready to lose her virginity just yet. She was the one that wanted to wait until marriage and she is determined to do that. I didn't want to lose my virginity until after marriage but Dante took it away from me when I was 19. I didn't stop us from doing it though, so I guess I gave it to him.

I turned on my heel to talk to Damien, "I came to see if you guys have watched the drive yet."

Gray gave me a confused look, then turned to his brother, "Mom said that you didn't know the video on the drive."

Damien shrugged, "My curiosity piqued and I watched it but I stopped watching when Mom said it's for yours and Elizabeth's eyes only." He looked at me, "Which, looks like you are the Elizabeth my mom was talking about and you're dating my brother. Just like Mom wanted!" Damien said, throwing his hands up in the air then dropping them down by his side.

I figured that this little meeting would take a while and I still had to treat Damien as a guest, even if he bugged me. "Would you like a seat Damien?" I asked as I motioned toward the couch.

He smiled and said, "Thank you Liz." Before he sat down, he asked, "What did Gray do to meet such a wonderful woman?"

Gray rolled his eyes, "When did you start calling her Liz?"

I crossed my arms and arched a brow, "How often did you talk about me to your brother?" I challenged Gray, he just gave me a small smile while Damien chuckled and said, "Almost every day."

"If you two are done with embarrassing me," Gray said, "I'd like to know the real reason for your visit Ian."

Damien sat up straighter on the couch, "You think you using my childhood nickname will make me tell you the reason I'm here?"

Gray shrugged, "No but now that you mention it, that can be the reason I used Ian."

"Has Mike and Jess questioned Dad yet?" Damien leaned back against the couch, making himself comfortable.

I shook my head, "No, not yet. They're going to wait a week until they do. They'll most likely question him the following Monday." It was Saturday, so that meant they had to wait 7 days until questioning him. "But don't worry, they're making sure he's comfortable."

Damien nodded his head and said, "Have you guys gone through the photos on the drive though?"

Gray and I shook our heads. Damien sighed and said, "Bring your laptop over here."

I brought my laptop and sat by Damien, Gray sat on my left and Ian was on my right. I exited the video that was still paused and went to the file that contained the pictures, "Which one do you want me to go to?"

"Just scroll through the photos until you see...it." I was confused on why he couldn't just tell us but I did what he told.

Gray and I looked at many photos. There were some of us kissing in the park and the night I flipped him over my shoulder. There was also a picture of me pushed up against my front door with Gray's lips pressed to mine and me trying to unlock the door without breaking the kiss. There were photos of the Assassins and some of the people they met with in the past.

But...there was one photo that blew my mind. "Is that...?" Gray started but didn't finish.

"Those are our parents," I said softly. Right in front of me was a picture of my mom and Gray's mom.

And the shocking part...

The photo was taken yesterday.
