"They're alive," Gray said, he spoke so quietly that I barely heard him. "I can't believe it."

It's true. They're alive. Right in front of me was my mom and Cassie, their hands were behind their back and two men stood beside them. One of them was my father and the other was Joshua.

"Mmhmm." Damien said, "I was in shock for almost a week. I tried finding them but I never could." He was staring off into the distance, "But, they're alive."

"Gray." I put my hand over my mouth as the tears flowed, "They're alive." My voice was muffled but Gray heard me. I saw him trying to hold back the tears that threatened to flow.

Damien cleared his throat and said, "I should get going."

I stood up and hugged Damien, it took him a moment until he put his arms around me and hugged me back, "Thank you Damien. Thank you so much." I spoke into his shoulder, I felt his nod.

His voice was quiet when he spoke, "You're welcome Izzy."

I let Damien go, who then hugged his brother and told him that he'll see him tomorrow. Gray nodded and said goodbye to Damien. After he left, I ran upstairs and into Ava's room.

She and Zach were playing Ava's Black Ops 3, "Ava!"

"What?" She replied, her eyes stayed glued to the screen.

I stood in front of the TV and she said, "Hey! I'm winning here."

"Pause it," I said in a stern voice, Ava rolled her eyes then paused the game, I shoved my laptop in her face. "She's alive."

Ava gave me a confused look then looked at the screen. Her eyes went wide and her mouth dropped open. Her left hand was underneath the laptop and her right pointer finger was on the mouse. Ava was silent and just staring at the screen.

After a couple moments of silence, she spoke, "I can't believe it. Mom's alive. She's actually alive."

Zach sat up straighter and looked at the screen, "Oh. My. God." was his response. He took the laptop from Ava and looked at the picture even more. "Emerald's alive. I can't believe it!"

Ava jumped up and hugged me, tears streaming down her face. I hugged her tight, the tears falling down my face. She pulled away after she stopped crying, "Why are her hands bound?"

"The Assassins have her." I said, I wiped my eyes and took a deep breath, "This picture was taken yesterday exactly at noon. I assume that Agent Emerald Hart and Agent Cassie Smith have been in deep cover for the years they've been missing."

Ava rolled her eyes, "You don't have to talk like you're talking to Mike. This is our mom we're talking about."

I shrugged, "It's habit." I took the drive from my laptop, "You two stay here and keep the windows shut and the doors locked. Do NOT go outside."

Gray and I ran down the stairs and into my car, I had to get to Mike. I pulled into my new reserved parking spot, which ironically, is right next to Gray's. His parking spot was on the right and Hope's was on the left.

Hope. I thought, "Hope." I turned to Gray, "I'll need Hope's help."

Hope is the best IT girl in the organization. She once hacked the federal governments' database, which is super secure. If anyone will help me find my mom, it's Hope.

I walked into the building and went to Hope's desk. I smiled at her, "Hope, can you come with me, please?"

She nodded, "Great to see you again Liz."

I hugged her, "You too." Together, we walked to Mike's office with Gray by our side. I looked through the window, Mike wasn't in his soundproof or no window office, he was in his normal one. I saw Alice sitting on the desk with one leg draped over the other, her arms were back, supporting her weight. She and Mike were talking.

I put the drive in Gray's front pocket, he looked at me and nodded, I stepped into the office as Gray and Hope hid behind the wall. "Mike, I need to talk to you." I said in the calmest tone I could muster up, I looked at Alice, "Alice, would you excuse us please."

She frowned, "Mike." She whined, "Why can't I be here?" I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms then leaned against the door frame.

Mike smiled and said, "Alice dear, will you go to the café please? I'll meet you there."

"Fine." She said then hopped off the desk, before leaving she whispered in my ear, "You tell him what I'm actually doing with him and you're as good as dead." Then she smiled and walked off.

I watched her get in her car and drive off then I pulled Mike to the sub levels where all the soundproof rooms were and that only me, Gray, Hope, Jess, and Mike had access too. Once we got in a room, I whirled on Mike, "Please tell me you never brought Alice down here?"

"I did." Mike said, "Once."

I groaned and started checking the shelves and other things, "Did you ever leave her alone?"

"Only for two minutes." He said, I let out a frustrated sigh and then spotted the things I've been looking for.

"A-ha!" I held up the bug, "Bugs. Gray, Hope, check the room." They nodded and got to work.

We found about 8 bugs. We smashed every single one of them. Mike looked at us, "What are you three doing?"

I turned on the computer at the desk and told Hope to run a check for bugs and anything that may record us that was on the computer or in the room. After she gave us clearance, I made Mike sit down in the chair and put in the drive. "Izzy, what are you doing?"

"This," I said as I pulled up the picture of my mom and Cassie. "This picture was taken yesterday exactly at noon. I assume that Agent Emerald Hart and Agent Cassie Smith have been in deep cover for the years they've been missing."

Mike stared at the photo then sat back in his chair, "It's a miracle." He muttered.

"Ya. There's one more thing." I looked at Gray, he took a deep breath.

"Alice DeYoung is..." He took another deep breath. His British accent was thick and sexy, "She works with the Assassins."

Mike looked at us and his face paled, "Oh no."
