Monday.

Jumin stared down at his cup of coffee steaming from the rim. It was a plain dark roast, and it looked absolutely disgusting. It tasted even worse. Who brought this to him? He was already cranky from a restless night of paperwork.

He liked tea, not coffee. Everyone should know it. Especially the person bringing it to him.

Eva knew this, even though she wasn't the one required to give it to him. She usually made herself a cup, and brought him one as well. But this morning it seemed she was running late, so one of the interns was asked to bring him his morning cup of tea. Yet somewhere along the way, it had apparently translated into coffee. One would think his employees would remember something as simple as that. It was as if the staff was playing a game of telephone, instead of working to get the job done accurately.

Even in annoyance,  Jumin was not intending to make it a big deal. The staff was already loaded down with the task of making sure the trade deal with Egypt went through. Everyone was nervous. The interns were probably scared out of their minds, and could care less if he wanted tea or not.

Regardless, his first world problem still irked him. Jumin was used to routine. He liked having a schedule, and he enjoyed work even more when everyone followed it.

A quiet knock caused the CEO to lift his head. Jaehee peaked her head into the room. "Sir, Ms. Rhee has arrived."

The mention of her brightened his sour mood. And just like that, his problem vanished. Eva would tease him about it anyways.

"Jaehee, bring Eva into my office." He mumbled, tossing the full cup of coffee into the trash bin.

His employee glanced timidly at him, confusion spreading across her face. "You mean Rhee, Eva?"

Jumin's eyes widened for a moment and he cleared his throat. "Yes, I mean Ms. Rhee." He turned his attention back to his work, but on the inside he was utterly embarrassed. How could he let something so simple as formalities in the workplace slip past him like that?

Jaehee left the room to fetch the secretary, and Jumin let his head fall to the desk. He groaned loudly. How was he already forgetting that Eva was more than his girlfriend? Secret girlfriend that was, making everything he had to think about ten times harder.

After moping about in disconcertion, Jumin lifted his head from the desk and straightened out the documents he was supposed to review.  "Stay professional." He mumbled, sighing deeply. He'd never had a problem focusing in the workplace before. So why the trouble now?

A different knock came a few minutes later, and Eva waltzed in with two cups of tea. "Hello Mr. Han." She smiled, setting the cup down on his designated coaster.

He inwardly cringed at the honorific. He much rather preferred hearing his first name come from her lips.

Eva's blouse was un-tucked slightly, but only he would of noticed. She was wearing less makeup than usual--not that it bothered him. Her natural state was adoring.

"It's nice to see you." He greeted after a pause, trying his best to keep his eyes away from her breasts and hips.

"And you as well." She made sure to bow in respect now that Jaehee was present. "I'm sorry I am late."

He raised his hand to silence her apology. "No need, we know you are trying to find a new place."

"I'll be leaving for now, i'll get back to you shortly Mr.Han." Jaehee cut in quickly, referring to the articles she was resting against her forearm.
