Jumin: When will I see you again?

Eva: A few days. I promise.

3 days later.

"Thank you, sir." Eva exited the cab with a smile on her face, handing him the exact change. She was going to be okay, everything was going to be okay.

The woman shoved the receipts into her purse, and hurriedly walked to the sidewalk.  She had just gotten home from a doctor's appointment, worried sick about the health of her baby.

She was irresponsible, but she hadn't know. She drank while she was pregnant, and was scared to find out if she had ruined it's life.

But glory to God, the baby was alright. Her one night of heavy drinking had no effect. Of course, the doctor still went through all the precautions, and warned her over and over again to not have another glass of anything until the baby was out.

Jumin still didn't know that she was pregnant, and visiting the doctor made it feel much more real. It had finally sank in.

The woman smiled, setting her hand over her belly. There wasn't a bump, and there would not be for months, but she still had Jumin's baby growing inside of her.

Now, it was time to finally face him. Eva pulled up the hood of her sweatshirt and made her way down the street. Jumin's apartment was a few minutes away. She doubted anyone would recognize her, but it was never wrong to play safe.

Since Jumin lived in the richer side of the city, Eva was surrounded by name brand stores. She watched the people fly by in real fur coats, Gucci bags, wearing top of the line makeup brands. Everything about these people were high quality, while she weaved through the crowd with nothing more than a hoodie and leggings. Perhaps dressing down made her stick out even more.

The brunette felt eyes on her back, she felt awkward like the many times before. Picking up the pace, Eva eventually made her way to Jumin's apartment building. But when she reached the entrance, she hesitated.

Her heart was beating fast with anxiety. She had not called, would he even be home? He was probably at the office. He was probably doing something productive. Jumin had better things to do than sit at home and mope for her return.

Eva frowned, and fiddled with her phone. Her finger hovered over his contact.

Someone brushed past her, glaring at her as if she had no right to be standing there. Eva blushed in shame, noticing a few more unfriendly gazes looking her way. Coming here was a bad idea.

Shaking her head, she left. Eva's head was spinning with worry, yet she kept on walking. She was only twenty minutes from home. She could take the bus and get there in five.

Unfortunately, she was too worked up to sit down.

At least Eva could tell Jisu about the appointment. She would be happy to hear the news. Having someone to talk to was better than not having anyone. She also had to catch up with Si yeon. After everything that had happened, Eva was surprised to not hear from her.

The woman was so lost in her own mind, that she failed to notice her path cross with someone else's. They collided shoulders, causing Eva to take a step back to catch herself from stumbling.

"Oh!" She breathed, gathering composure. "I'm so sorry!"

But when she looked up, her apology died in her throat.

It was Hajin.

Eva's face hardened, she turned away sharply. The last person she wanted to see ever again. How did this even happen? Was he watching her? Why was he here?
