My phone buzzes.
It's Matthew. He's one of my friends. We usually play xbox and skateboard together.
"Hey, dude, are we still on for 2morrow?"
Ughhh! I forgot! Me and him are going to spend the day together in town, then he and Drew are going to spend the night at my place.
I can't cancel on Rachel, though.
"Do you think we can have a slight change in plans?"
"How so?"
I don't know how he's going to react to this.
"I met a girl on the beach today. I invited her to the same beach tomorrow. Do you want to meet up there?"

"Is she cute?"
Really? Is that all he thinks about? Not, "sure" or "no, sorry" or "it was supposed to be you and me"?
"I guess so.." I'm not going to judge a person I just met today. She is pretty, I will admit, but I'm still getting to know her, before I decide that she's attractive or not. So far, yes.
"Alright, I'm in."
I have to tell Rachel.
"Hey, is it okay if a friend of mine joins?"
