Cautiously Vi walked over to the letter and picked it up as if it contained a bomb. She slid her fingernail under the seal and opened the letter. She carefully unfolded the paper inside and read its' contents. Dear Miss Violet, I am writing to inform you that you are a vampire. I am from the academy of vamps, and would like you to join our school as you are of age. We will feed you, teach you, and shelter you. We hope you will join. Sincerely, Terri Shen. P. S. if you would like to respond to this letter, simply tap this letter and say Vamps. Vi was stunned. What? I mean, that would certainly explain people's behavior, but a vampire? She'd always thought of vampires as dreadful, bloodsucking creatures. She wasn't sure if she wanted to be that. But, this school might be the only place in the world where she could fit in. Taking a deep breath, Vi tapped the paper and whispered, " Vamps"
